Time once again for a (computer) desktop and theme picture show!
I did a search and didn’t see a recent thread (which means there is one going on five pages with a recent post of five minutes ago.) So, I’ll start it off:
Wow, bouv, that is really a splendiferous desktop. Kudos.
Mine is a very talented man by the name of Yoshiki. He was the drummer for the band X Japan, and he also composes classical music and plays piano beautifully and is generally awesome. He’s also kinda pretty and I made this my desktop ages ago to make my boyfriend jealous. It didn’t work. Instead, he just thinks Yoshiki is cool too.
And look at the bottom of my screenshot. You can see that I still had yours open. Hee.
I should point out that the theme (taks bar and menu color and style) are not related to the background. The background image is from a theme called NEStyle that i got from deviantart, but the theme didn’t load. So I made the image the background and got a theme that had a similar color scheme.
I’ve got these two on my home computers- Biohazard and Cyclotron.
Yep, I made 'em, using a combination of Photoshop and 3DSMax.

How do I take a screenshot (XP)?
Press “PrintScreen” on your keyboard. Then open up Photoshop, and make a new file- it will automatically make a new file of the proper dimensions. Then just Ctrl-V to Paste the screenshot into the file. Then you can save it as a .jpg or whatever.
If you don’t have photoshop, you can also use the Paint program that comes with Windows- just make a new file and Paste the screenshot into it.

I have an almost identical picture that I took while was in Japan in summer 2005. I thought someone had stole my photo when I first saw yours!

As soon as I had the internet card working when I set up this comp, I searched for cute wallpaper. This is what I found and what I’ve had since. It makes me happy.
As a side note, I don’t go out of my way to “clean up” for guests. Nobody’s forcing them to come in.
Yeah, that was sort of defensive. At least you didn’t have to hear the other 90% of the rant that went through my head.
