Last night I went out with friends - had kingfish with roast potatoes, snap peas, broccoli all in a white wine sauce, with a few glasses of some Australian sav blanc whose name I can’t now remember. 
Tonight it’s whatever Mum feels like making. If I’m not cooking, I’m not arguing. I’m secretly hoping it will be her special beef curry.
Roasted chicken breast with a side of french fries. Yum. 
Tonight was leftovers, but to make leftovers more palatable we always get some good bread, cheese, and wine.
We had leftover pasta (with broccoli, red peppers, grape tomatoes, and ricotta), a spinach salad, and in honor of the leftovers a lovely rustic bread from Panzanella (great Italian bakery in Seattle), half a wheel of goat brie, and a bottle of tempranillo. Mmm.
