What's for dinner?

Due to my miscalculation of the longevity of some chicken, we are having not Pad Thai, but beanie weenies.
How about you?

I’m just having soup with a bunch of extra pasta in it.

Ham & American cheese on homemade rye bread, grilled in the George Foreman. And salsa on the side.

Hormel Meatloaf from the pre-cooked but still refrigerated section.
Not like Mom used to make, but a whole lot closer than the nearest diner.

I made a big-ass pot of pasta e fagioli - enough to feed four people two meals each, a total cost of less than $5 including the loaf of Italian bread to go with, and no more skill required than the ability to boil water.

Salsa from a jar and Fritos ‘scoops’ corn chips.

I’m such a good cook

Meatball subs (home made meatballs) and a side salad.

Home-made pasta sauce with veal over some fresh spaghettini. I just had to go out in the cold, whipping wind to get the pasta, and it took two supermarkets to find it. On the plus side they had a huge variety of fresh pasta, which was cool. I live in Shopping Central (3 major supermarkets, one being a superstore, another in a mall and the third in a plaza, all at the same intersection 10 minutes (walking) from my apartment) so I end up with a pretty wide selection of stuff, which makes for some good dinners when I’m energetic enough to go out and buy and cook the stuff. Which is not precisely as often as it probably should be.

Baked potato soup with bacon, and grilled cheese sandwiches.

I forgot to thaw any meat out for supper.

I haven’t thought about it yet. I’ve got most of the makings of a salad already at home. I may just buy some bread rolls and some pesto on the way home from work this afternoon.

Leftover teriyaki salmon.

I made a salad with smoked salmon, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, avocado, mustard and pepper. There was supposed to be ruccola and radishes in there too, but the store was out of those two rare, exclusive specialty items.

I’m having leftover hangikjöt* with cream sauce and boiled potatoes. Mmmmmm.

*Icelandic smoked lamb.

Grilled vegetavle Boca burger on toasted english muffin with cheese, and a salad and carrots. Not vegetarian, just like 'em. The husband and kids had shepherd’s pie.

Oh dear lord. The only hangikjot I’ve ever seen still had a face. Please tell me you don’t eat skata.

I had an incredible jones for Mickey D’s on the way home for some reason. I haven’t eaten there in at least 3 years.

2 Big Macs, large Fries…and a diet coke.

A chef’s salad, I think. The wife is on a business trip, so I’m combing the fridge, looking for edibles (we really need to go grocery shopping when she gets back.) But I do see a bag of sald greens, and we always have some cheeses and sliced deli meats around. I’ll just boil up a couple of eggs, and dinner will be served.

Aw, c’mon…you should have gone all the way, had a “regular” Coke and one of those hot cherry pies!

Jalapeno-butter steak tips and french fries (from a potato, not from a bag)

I went all out tonight.

London Broil, mashed potatoes and corn.

Once a month, I take mudgirl out for fast food after her dance class, her choice or place. So tonight it was a Wendy’s chicken club sandwich and small fries, unsweetened iced tea. I ate half of the sandwich and about five of the fries in the place, and the other half of the sandwich and rest of the fries as my bedtime snack.

It’s probably a good thing I don’t eat this way often.
