This is happening:
And it will hang like that until I manually enlarge it.
Sometimes the page will show partially and enlarge on its own, but not The Dope.
Went to internet options > settings> advanced settings but then I “bogged down”.
Thanks

Try resizing the window as you want it. Then hold down the shift key and keep holding it as you close the window
If that fails try this from PC Magazine
FWIW, the more browser plugins you have loaded, the more flaky your browser can get. Looks like you have a bumper crop of 'em in that pic.
Try using Firefox browser instead of Internet Explorer.
I spy IE7, methinks.
I had the same problem, way back when. Switched to Firefox and never looked back.
Firefox and my gaming computer don’t get along. I had a really bad experience one night will trying to load it (I have both 32 and 64 IE7) and to go to recover from an earlier date to fix everything.
Anyway, the above fix with re-sizing didn’t work. Maybe I should do all that and then re-start the computer?
Thanks

You can always go to
Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced Tab -> Reset Button (toward the bottom)
This will restor IE to the settings it had at install. Warning it will remove all your add-ons and it may reset your cookies and such. I’m not 100% sure on that, but be ready for it.
Okay, thanks Guys. It’s more than likely ME, but the only thing that sped things up as far as scrolling and page speed were concerned, was disabling the phishing filter. As far as page size, sometimes the entire page shows, other times only a part of it - hangs a bit - then opens. I can live with that, though.
Bad idea, right?
