whats for dinner tonight?

i personally call it Tea, but thats a regional variation.

me, i’m going to have garlic butter chicken kievs and rice.
how about you lot?

Oooooh…that sounds really good. I’m thawing chicken as I type. I was going to just bread it and serve it up with garlic bread, pasta and veggies, but yours sounds much better.

Whatever my FIL cooks (we’re going to the ILs house for dinner).

Usually, meat (pork or chicken) and assorted vegetables (in separate bowls). Four of the family (including me) are on low-carb diets, so things have to be simple and separate.

Savoury cauliflower cheese and baked potato. Mmmm. And who says MPSIS doesn’t deal with important issues?

It might have to be bacon cheeseburgers tonight. I even bought some honking huge beefsteak tomatoes for the big event. If I know what’s good (and unhealthy) for me, I’ll make a batch of home made French fries too. I’ve got these gigantic baking potatoes left over from Burning Man that need to be used up.

Ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, steamed carrots, rolls and custard pie. I have company coming.

a cheese omelette.

omelette du fromage!

Since it’s Open House night at my son’s school, we’ll be dining on leftovers. Left over pork roast in a spicy applejuice sauce with carrots, turnips and potatoes.

Now I’m all hungry and it’s only—oh! It’s lunch time already!

damn right. who cares about global politics etc when you can find out what peeps are eating later on. this question comes up EVERYDAY in my professional life.

thats all you can say
thats all you can say
Pizza, here.

Wow, you mean some people actually PLAN dinner?!

We’re roping tonight, and I don’t cook on roping nights. Usually I plan leftovers, but tonight I’m bringing home dinner from Big Will’s Smokehouse. A couple of slabs of ribs, cornbread, red beans and rice, and some etouffee, since my boyfriend’s been craving it.

Oh, yum! I’m coming to y’all’s house for dinner… my kitchen is gutted and I have no sink, or stove! We are remodeling! I think I’ll make reservations for dinner…haha.

Actually, I feel like Chinese buffet tonight!

I’m jealous of all of you who get to eat real food tonight. Cafeteria food for me.

I tell you, I don’t know what I would eat if it weren’t for the omelletes, salad bar, and sandwich grill…

Linguini with mussels and red sauce. Big crispy green salad with Chinese crunchy noodles. Fresh, warm, homemade blackberry cobbler. That should do it

I’m coming to your house.

We’re going to a political fundraiser where they are serving grilled lamb, scallops and shrimp, along with vegetarian lasagna. Free food! Well…sorta.

LMFAO!!! Thought I was the only dexter fan on the boards.

Marinated swordfish, rice pilaf, sliced tomatoes with melted mozzarella.

Wienies and beans.
My wife and I both work so we don’t have much time to cook during the week (but that’s OK, I like wienies and beans and so dose the little one).

Oh yes, me too. You simply cannot have good food when you’re cooking a giant vat of it for 5000 people. I can cook stirfry fresh everyday, but man cannot live on stirfry alone. If anything, man gets really sick of rice.

If I’m lucky, the lettuce on the salad bar will be mostly green and there’ll be good soup out instead of some weird experimental collection of cheap ingredients.

So I’m coming to visit some of you.
