I’m making us a large batch of risotto with portobello mushrooms and shrimp. Leftovers will become risotto cakes, fried in butter.

Basic salad with sweet & tangy French dressing and a yogurt.
Thanks to all the recent dope comments, a kaiser roll with pimiento cheese. I’m suggestible like that.
Also, a smoothie and fruit salad. Yum.
Mac -n- cheese w/shredded chicken caracass leftover from last night + a packet of del taco inferno sauce = yum!

Yeah, I’ve been dying to try making some pimiento cheese myself. But no one else in the house would eat it.
Had to run an errand to midtown Manhattan today, so I stopped at a Vietnamese place on the way home and got a Bahn Mi to go. Traditional and spicy, so mystery meat, pate, ground pork, cucumbers radish hot peppers and cilantro. Brought it home and ate it ALL in front of the dogs, with a cold German beer.
Made up a salad with some mixed lettuce leaves, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, onion, celery, feta cheese, roast chicken and some thai dressing.
