What's on your shopping list this morning?

I had to go to the pharmacy a little while ago for Pepto and Tylenol. The guy behind me was buying an economy-sized package of toilet paper and a bunch of Glade Plug-Ins air fresheners (eew).

So what’s on your shopping list this fine Boxing Day 2008?

I’m out of plastic wrap, and I need to buy my 2009 calendars (I always wait till they’re half off).

I’m out of dish soap and lettuce. Either I’ll get it in gear after working out or I’ll add some water to the soap bottle and shake it up and have something else for lunch so that I can stay home all day. It’s cold and raining out and I don’t feel like making a grocery list for the next week yet.

I want a calendar too. Maybe I’ll find some motivation later in the day.

Vegetables. I’m sick of the rich food and baked goods of the holidays.

Toilet paper and milk. Out of both.

Raspberry Gingerale

Cat Litter Attractant

Books (yay! that’s just for fun)

An ice maker. The one in my freezer is half dead & today is a day that both a) I’m off work, and b) the 8-5 M-F only appliance parts store is open.

A new hairbrush because mine broke on Christmas Eve! and cleaning solution for my husband’s electric razor. Eggs because I used the last in the cheesecake.

2nd trip list

  1. “C” batteries.

I leave tonight for a 10 day vacation, so I’ll need to buy body wash and shaving gel when I arrive.
When I come back I’ll need to buy milk.

Celery for the turkey soup to be made. Tin foil–I used up the last bit covering delicate bits on the turkey.

I don’t go out Boxing Day, though, so if my husband wants to pick it up, fine, otherwise, it’ll wait 'til Monday.

I hear you on the vegetables–I ate raw veggies and salad for dinner two nights running before Christmas. I was craving something vegetable and crunchy. Way too much goodie-nibbling.

Same here. I’m making vegetable barley soup for dinner. Maybe a nice side salad.

I also need my 2009 calendar. I’ll be sad to see the old one go (WPA posters of National Parks. It’s awesome.)
