My SO had the following ditty on his answering machine for nearly two years:
“Rowzdower, Rowzdower, rowza rowza Rowzdower, bibbity bobbity bowz-dower, sippity soppity sowz-dower, hippity hoppity Rowz…dower.” (beeep!)
Final Sacrifice is the S**T!

It certainly is. It really takes off when they meet up with the archaeologist who talks like Yosemite Sam, and Mike & the bots start throwing in “consarn it”, “varmint” and “ah hates that rabbit” at random.
Of the 50-odd eps from the SciFi years (where I’m qualified to comment), my faves are:
Space Mutiny
Prince of Space
Final Sacrifice
Touch of Satan (this is where the fish lives)
Leech Woman (Neil!)
parts: the clonus horror (the best part is the end credits, with “James Arness: Ugly and Stupid…next, on Biography”)
Werewolf
Incredibly Strange…Zombies
Giant Spider Invasion (Packers! Woo!)
I would like to nominate
The Giant Gila Monster (“I sing whenever I sing whenever I sing…”)
Master Ninja 2 (“Now I want you to remember… nobody ever wub a wah by dying foh hih cubbady. He won it… by making the other poor dumb babbister die foh hih cubbady.”)
Ee-gah (“Watch out for snakes!”)
Home Economics (“Here, Jane makes black tar heroin…”)
Circus On Ice (“Unshaven, stinky, and boozed up on Rumplemintz, the hunters spray bullets into the woods.”)
Gamera (“Here at Exxon, we take the greatest precautions to preserve our fragile ecology.”)
The Human Duplicators (“Does she ever greet me the door wearing Saran Wrap and stiletto heels? No!”)
Bride of the Monster ("‘Get out of the car, look around. Remember, you’re German.’ Ach! Jes, I’m Cherman. Cherman az I can be, jes.")
Two more excellent episodes I forgot to mention:
Girls’ Town (excellent nun jokes)
The Day the Earth Froze
Singer: “And the Lord said laugh, children, laugh, the Lord said laugh, children, laugh, the Lord said laugh, children, laugh, the Lord said laugh, laugh, laugh…”
Joel: “What I want to know is did the Lord say it this many times?”
Crow: “Yeah, that’s why Deuteronomy is so long.”
Joel-as-Crystal-Bernard: “They VARnished mah house!”
Crow-as-Crystal-Bernard: “They disconnected mah cable and hooked up mah stereo wrong!”
“What are you going to take, Jane?”
“I’m going to take Bob for all he’s worth!”
and
“Oh, hi, Opal!”
How about the “stinger” from Diabolik:
“Is that stud…coming?”
Or what about the stinger from Overdrawn at the Memory Bank? Raul Julia: “M’um…'my nuts?”
Does anyone have the CDs? I have the first one that a friend sent me for Xmas one year.
Ah, The Home Economics Story…
My ex-husband’s previous boyfriend went to that college. It was the ONLY MST3K thing we ever watched that he liked and laughed his ass off through.
There is a moment where all together Joel and the Bots do an insane girlish laugh which still makes me giggle.
I’m going to have to go with:
Outlaw of Gor (Toobular boobular joy!)
Space Mutiny (“She’s presenting like a Mandrill!” and … railings.)
Prince of Space (He’s a wispy bachelor!)
Devil Fish (Italian florida)
and the Delta Knights (she grew a butt on her chest!)
But all of them are fun to watch with the possible exception of “Hamlet” which was just too stinking awful even for the Misties.
You mean Iowa State College, “The High School After High School?”
“Kay got a real thrill when she dropped her application in the mailbox.”
“WHOOEEEEEGGHHGHHHAEEEEEHEEEHEEE!”
Narrator: “This assembly was for the girls only…”
Bots: “Ohhhhhh…”
Male MC: “Your Period and Mine: A Lecture.”
CDs? Was ist das? Do you mean the DVDs?
[The response letter arrives]
“Oh shoot, I mailed it to myself!”
The Economics short is great. For those who haven’t seen it, it’s on Shorts, Vol. Two.
Yup. And just reading your text of it made me laugh. Time to get out the first box set and watch that one. I need a refresher on making black tar heroin anyways.
It’s Shorts Vol 1
“She was eating cubes of mesacline jell-o.”
Man the coast guard will do anything. Do you think they’ll come to my niece’s birthday party?
“Look, look, look at my crotch!”
No, they released two audio CDs of some of the songs and just general host bits they did over the years - obviously tending toward stuff that works in a non-visual sense. They have the Patrick Swayze Christmas song, the Tubular Boobular song (their best song ever, IMHO), the walkathon bit, the Canada song, etc, etc.
They used to be for sale on mst3kinfo.com, but poking around there now, they don’t appear to be selling them any more. Maybe they ran out of stock.
Clowns In The Sky 1 & 2
http://www.mst3kinfo.com/satnews/catalog/Basement.htm
They’re listed at the bottom of the page.
The original is available as a free download from the Prelinger archives. It’s several minutes longer than the MST version, which is cool because I’ve seen that one so many times I actually sort of like Kay now. I root for her, and I wonder about her choices. Will she choose to major in Teaching or Institutional Dining? Who would her friends be? Who would her roommate be? What secret societies would she join? Would she smoke thin black cigarettes and reject the triune god?
I also like the “Cheating” short.
“There weren’t enough bell towers in the world for Johnny.”
Or the “Body Care & Grooming”.
“I’m off to my Hitler Youth Meeting!”
