Warren Jeffs is in prison doing 10 to life; I believe he’s still facing a number of civil suits based on alleged child abuse. He resigned the presidency of the FLDS while he was on trial for rape. Meanwhile, the trust that used to own Colorado City and supposed FLDS properties was put in receivership (I believe) and the receiver has been dissolving the trust, permitting families (well, men) to own their houses.
Who’s in charge of the FLDS now? Is Jeffs running it from prison? Have some of the draconian rules he imposed been changed?
Sidenote: Jeffs banned red at one point, likely to see who would go along with such a kooky thing. But when Jeffs was captured, guess what color car he was in?
