“The Patient Ferris Wheel” by Gaslight Anthem, aka my New Favourite Band.
Checked out their albums and I like every single song. How does that even happen. Flew down to Baltimore for their show at Rams Head Live and had a freakin’ blast.
Vuroien taa by Indica, a Finnish pop band. I just stumbled across them on YouTube last night and I’m hooked. I already bought four of their songs off iTunes.
I’m hooked, like I said, and I don’t even have the first idea what they’re singing about. It’s all in Finnish, which I don’t speak or read, so my enjoyment is purely musical and not due to any “deepness” to their lyrics or anything. I have to admit I do like the gypsy/dark fairytale/gothish type image they’re cultivating.
I was just listening to that an hour ago. Such a great song.
Mine is Wagon Wheel by Old Crow Medicine Show. I loved it before the lyrics even started and when they did the question became when, not if, I would download the song.
Lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off by Panic at the disco. I can’t believe I let this band escape my notice. I only found out about it after hearing it in the game Saints Row.
This Italian dark-ish pop number was thrown up by YouTube as a recommendation. Normally its recommendations are quite bizarre, I but I’m totally stuck on this. Help, I can’t stop, help!
I just downloaded the new Chickenfoot album and Different Devil grabbed me right away. Sammy Hagar in fine voice, Joe Satriani on guitar. Nice, catchy melody. Throw in Michael Anthony and Chad Smith, and you’ve got a fine piece of music by some veteran musicians that Masta Shake would approve.
I just listened to it. Colour me meh. The latest Queen of indie hype Lana Del Rey’s Videogames was quite arresting when I first heard it. Another one that I really loved the first I heard it was Sketch! by Tieranniesaur.
