What's the most interesting car you saw today?

And then, not 10 minutes later, this nice Pontiac Solstice.

I saw that Nissan Pao again.

There have been 11 generations of the Honda Civic since it was first produced for 1972. This 3-door hatchback is a second generation, and it appears to be a 1980. It’s pretty clean.

You gotta wonder where that’s been hiding for the last 40 years. Also, looks like only one side mirror. My 1968 Plymouth also only had one on the driver’s side, optional back then.

Same color as my sister’s CVCC. I think hers was a bit older.

I spotted a Toyota Hiace Super Custom minivan from what appears to be about 1994. It has a distinctive wrap-around sunroof in the rear and I also noticed drapes. Turbo diesel, full-time all wheel drive.

A bright yellow Porsche 930 turbo… or maybe not.

It might look like one but this is not a 930 turbo.

The bright yellow caught my eye, but this is actually a 912 conversion. Yes, 912. I talked to the mechanic at the shop and he said it’s a poor conversion at that. And it doesn’t run well either.

All show, no go.

All hat, no cattle.

.

Side view of the rear half looked like a '57 Chevy but was not. It had even more pronounced taller fins. On its trunk was a gold color wide, shallow, V. That’s all I’ve got as it turned a corner. Any thoughts?

Could’ve been a Cadillac of similar vintage.

Parked way, far in the back all alone and far from any other cars at the local Costco — this beautiful convertible Jaguar F Type R AWD with supercharged 5.0L V8.

It has a smart owner.

Have you seen the video of the stock R1T at Moab? It’s pretty impressive.

Honestly, I’d be tempted to park right next to it.

With a clunker, and very close! But without putting and dings in the door.

I mentioned upthread that I had never seen a Rivian but I now know what they look like. Today I had to drive into Cambridge, near Harvard SQ and I spotted one taking a turn while I was walking nearby. I then drove to the supermarket, pulled into a spot, directly face on to a 2nd Rivian.

And yesterday I saw a nice C3 Stingray L88.

Hey @Telemark what did you think of the R1T’s styling?

VW ID.4, SUV — I like the styling on it, it’s pretty sharp.

It’s pretty blocky, but not necessarily in a bad way. The headlights take a bit getting used to. And the bed appears pretty short. Other than that I liked it.

The Rivian pickup looks better than the Tesla Cybertruck and seems more usable.

Yeah, pretty much the same here. Those headlights will take some getting used to.
