It’s all relative.
Holy cow.
SIX-fifty? Yikes!
The funny thing is, you’ve likely seen plenty of 650s, just not outfitted to look like oversized f150/250/350s.
If you want to attract the ladies, what you need is an F-750
Incidentally, I ran across this a few days ago and it keeps popping into my head:
Saw my first Rivian in the wild this morning on my walk to work. Still dark in the mornings so I noticed the full across narrow light bar on the rear. Checked the headlights and sure enough, Rivian. It was the SUV.
Saw him do the asshole manoeuvre when he turned on to the busy street at the intersection. I’m sure he was impressing his passenger with his 0-50 (kmh, speed limit) acceleration. Cool car none the less.
I’ve seen plenty of Rivians on the road (I live in Northern California after all), but last weekend was the first time I actually walked past one parked on the street, and thus had my first opportunity to actually check one out up close. One unique feature of the Rivian is that if it detects someone standing close to it for too long, a cartoon Yeti holding a camera appears in the infotainment screen as a gentle message that its security system has detected you (IIRC it actually has external cameras). So I purposely stood near it partly because I just wanted to check it out in general, but mostly because I wanted to see the Yeti appear.
This weekend I saw numerous Rivians while up in Vermont skiing. I now see 2 or 3 of them on every trip.
Yesterday I saw a Polestar and a Ford F-150 Lighting. That was the first time I’d seen a Lightning.
I hadn’t heard of the C8R. Seeing your post, I assumed it was a collection of graphics with no real performance parts. Wow, was I wrong. It’s basically a track-ready Corvette. Cool.
Considering the C8 is already pretty much track-ready (the ZO6 even more so), this is something. Sounds a little brutal to daily-drive for sure.
Chevy Impala, early 2000s?
Chevy? No, it’s a TANK.
Oh……yeah, might be an Impala.
An impaled Impala!
