What's the most interesting car you saw today?

She’s wearing her wedding dress, and a black leather jacket. In the back of a hummvee. I like her style!

This is at battlefieldVegas.com, where you can shoot many full auto toys. How much is the 50 cal? $35(!) per round. No thank you. Besides, been there done that. And America paid for my ammo, thank you.

At a friends wedding a guest showed up in a deuce and a half. Open air, no top. The wedding party jumped in back and we drove around our small resort town just laying on the horn. We where all pretty lit.

I was a little concerned that the police may not be to happy about our mini-parade. The bride is a supervisor at 911 she said “If we get pulled over the cop is going to be responding to every barking dog complaint for the rest of his career”

Sounds like a good time!

These are web photos because I could not snap pictures while driving yesterday, but yesterday I spotted a Bentley Bentayga SUV, a Mitsubishi L200 pickup, and what is fast becoming a personal favorite, a Lotus Emira. I didn’t get a great look at it on the interstate, but from what I got I think it’s a beautiful car.

Another vehicle that I didn’t know existed or needed to exist. A Shelby Ford F-150, with a supercharged 700 HP V8. This appears to be the 2017 model, the current version produces 770 HP.

I was standing up in a wedding that booked a bus to drive the wedding party around. We stopped to take pictures on some semi-private land and almost immediately had people out there trying to get us to leave. The funny thing was, at some point that person threatened to call the police. I watched as the whole group knowingly looked at each other and told her to go ahead. I mean, we were already leaving, but I think they were kinda hoping the cops would get called on a bus that was almost entirely full of firefighters and cops*. I think myself and the driver were the only people that weren’t.

2024 Buick Envision Avenir. Apparently, Buick is pushing Avenir as their highest trim level, something they’re pushing across all models.

Apparently Audi’s new all-electric A6.

as a non-murican who has seen this buick for the first time …

maybe the angle is very unfavorable or the color but that does not look good - Atztek vibes

I live at very high altitude. I see a lot of camouflaged cars and trucks come over the pass. I guess thin air/altitude testing.

Some have so much crap hanging on them that it must ruin aerodynamics. But you can’t recognize what it is or is supposed to be.

I don’t think it looks great from that angle, but I actually like the overall styling of the car. Otherwise it appears to perform like most other Buicks.

Pretty cool, @blondebear .

Has anyone heard of VinFast? On I-40 in New Mexico today I passed two transport trucks full of them. Each had 5-6 of them. Sorry, no pics.

I had to look it up. VinFast is an electric car from Vietnam! From web photos I think they were the VinFast VF 8.

These are web pics. Not my pics.

just a sidemark:

you are gonna see less of that in the future …

EVs don’t suffer from power loss in altitudes … so no more reason to get them to high altitudes for testing.

An interesting Google Street View software artifact concept car: a stretch 8-wheel SUV:

I heard of it, because it got pretty much universally terrible reviews when they showed it to journalists last year:

Wow, that’s pretty ugly for a pretty looking EV. Clearly, beauty is only skin deep.

A late 1980s Volvo 740, in really good condition for such an old car:

And in other news, it looks like my neighbor just washed his 1979 Buick Skylark.

Not sure what this is:
