1970 El Camino. SS big block, Marina Blue with black stripes. Perfect condition.
1957 (ish) Nash, in perfect condition, like this: http://www.remarkablecars.com/main/nash/1957-nash-001.jpg
The only thing missing was Pluto driving it.
Today, a Triumph Spitfire 1500 on a trailer that was as small as the car.
Yesterday was the more interesting vehicle: a WWII-era BMW motorcycle with sidecar, like in the picture.
A Suzuki Equator pickup.
I looked out my window the other day and saw this pickup on the street. It looked like a Nissan, but there was the Suzuki “S” in the middle of the grill. That seemed pretty strange, as well as seeing part of the model name on the side.
Anyways, after talking to the owner, he filled me in on the Equator. Seems it was a re-badged Nissan Frontier.
I never realized Suzuki produced such a truck.
A Porsche Boxster Spyder. They were pretty popular five years ago when they first came out, but lately I haven’t seen one in many months.
I didn’t actually see it today but my neighbor has an AWD Safari van with the Z71 off road package. It’s super clean and definitely gets treated like a collectors item. I don’t recall ever seeing one with the Z71 setup.
There’s always the possibility that someone added the graphics to a regular all wheel drive Safari.
I’ve never met him or seen it up close but it’s really sharp.
A bright red '62 or '63 Ford Falcon Ranchero.
If they built something like that today, I’d buy it.
I saw a mid-60s Plymouth Barracuda for sale on the side of the road going out to the Oregon coast; probably a '65 or '66.
They do, but the shipping will be murder…
My neighbour parked his Mitsuoka Himiko next to my car today.
An Oldsmobile Bravada. An Oldsmobile anything is getting more and more rare.
What an awesome, beautiful car. Love it!
That is a beautiful car Ale.
It looks like the Morgan I came here to post about. I saw a beautifully restored Morgan yesterday.
A new Honda HR-V. A small CUV, it’s an interesting concept and a nice looking car.
A Packard Clipper, just like this one, parked in a neighborhood driveway.
Saw a Model A last night. Sort of a truck-style with a nice wood box.
A lot of DIYer customization of those things. E.g., the one my granddad did for the drive west from Oklahoma in the 30s with a family of 8.
Lotus Elise. Pretty cool.
Saw a Fisker Karma on the freeway this afternoon. There are two or three in the area. They’re very sleek machines.
I saw a Daewoo Nubira on the way into work this morning. I didn’t even know any of those were still running…
Our PCA chapter gathered for a small town (Round Top) parade Saturday and I was parked next to a beautiful grey '63 356 S, a gorgeous car and superbly maintained. A variety of makes and models there from Turbo S to GTS to GT3, etc, a little over 30 in all so nice to browse the lot. Later a couple of Murcielagos and an Astin showed up, as did a wide variety of American muscle, '69 454 Camaro, '68 Chevelle, '74 Camaro, old Vettes, '40s pickups, etc. A really nice experience for a car enthusiast, plus there was pie (Royer’s).
