What's the most interesting car you saw today?

Saab 900, driving w/ top down

A Tesla Model X Plaid, with a SpaceX logo on the trunk in addition to the usual Tesla badging. I’m not sure if the owner put the SpaceX logo there, or Tesla.

I saw a hot pink Cybertruck at the local Pride Fest this past weekend.

Jaguar XKR convertible with the license plate JAGLVR.

Oh, interesting!

Late 1940s or early 50s Chevy Deluxe sedan. The hood ornament is easily recognizable, but I can’t tell if that indicates a specific year. I know the taillights changed during that time as well, but I don’t know enough to figure out which year. I was waiting in traffic so I only had a few seconds to take a photo.

This morning I was behind a black Suburban with some white numbers on its back bumper, like it was a government fleet vehicle. My first thought was “Ha! Obvious Secret Service vehicle” since it looked exactly like how such cars are portrayed in movies. But then I realized it didn’t have government plates, in fact it had personalized plates, like a private car would have. So was the owner just trying to make their car look like a government car? Or I guess maybe they bought it at a government auction or something. Or maybe it really was a government car, and this is just what they want me to think.

Based where I’ve seen down here in Southern California, that’s their limousine permit number. If you recall, did the code start with “TCP”?

Oh, of course, why didn’t I think of that? Yes, as I recall it started with TCP. I tend to think of limos as fancy Escalades and similar, but I assume this was just something like an airport car service, not a fancy limo rental.

This very nice Land Cruiser:

I drove by a “Mopar House” in my neighborhood. I assume the same guy owns all three of these. I’m not certain about the years but I think they’re right. Or at least they’re close.

● 1966 Plymouth Satellite Commando V8

● early 1990s Chrysler Imperial (what year? what’s the exact model?)

● 1964 Dodge 100 pickup

Here are all my pictures —

This 82 looks just about identical.

(I’m calling it an 82 based on this ebay listing )

1982! Yes! Thank you!

Interestingly, wiki has this —

Model years
