Really.
A highway snowplow truck being towed by a heavy duty tow truck.
I saw an old Chrysler 300 today that was decked out with “Vacation or Bust” and holiday decor. Best of all were the two happy elves inside. Clearly Santa’s shop has shut down for annual cleaning/remodeling today. (I wouldnt’ be driving that vehicle today. It snowed, therefore the gov’t put down salt on the roads.)
I saw one of those ersatz “Bentleys”-it is a Chrysler 300 with a fake Bentley grill, and fake Bentley “B’s” plastered on the trunk and hood .
Quite status symbol!
Light blue Datsun B210 hatchback
When I was leaving Peterborough on Christmas Eve Day, an actual Bentley, some kind of fastback coupe, turned in front of me into the entrance to the bus station parking garage.
And speaking of Peterborough: the Chemong Lake floating bridge from 1949 (before my time).
On Christmas Day I didn’t spot Santa’s sleigh, but I did come across a tow-plow.
Saw a rusted-out Studebaker Champion on a country road yesterday. Oddly, there is this one general store that always seems to have some type of dead Studebaker out front.
'82 Jeep Scrambler parked at the grocery store. Ran into the owner… it was a barn find and in the process of being restored. Still looked great.
Saw an Acura NSX today, in white. It’s been at least five years since I saw Honda’s version of a Ferrari on the road. It looked a bit ratty…
Porsche 924
In Guards Red!
Most interesting to me – my brand new 2016 Mazda3.
1994 Caprice Classic wagon, looked like it just drove off the dealer lot.
I went from WTF is that to OMG, they do exist. My first ever sighting of a Fisker! Black.
Looks kinda Batmobileish; did he settle down, get married & start a family?
1976 Plymouth Fury, in baby blue
I’m now waiting impatiently for spring so I can see interesting cars again.
I know what you mean. I grew up in Upstate New York, usually buried under snow in mid-Jan. But now I live near San Francisco. I’ll spot them and call them out for ya.
Another i3 just parked at the grocery store. I see more and more each day.
And… 2 weekends ago my brother test drove a Tesla P85D. 0-60 in 3 seconds. When you mash the electron pedal it takes your breath away!
Three Bentley Continental GT convertibles within one hour. Wait, the deal is that these were not the same 3 that I saw yesterday. So, that is $1.5 mil. of iron in 6 cars?
Two of the three yesterday had MT plates. Must be those ubiquitous rich cowboys.
Preach it! -20C here today and snowfall…blech. All the cool cars are hibernating in their garages…
