Coffee.
10-4!
Cheese. I do not think a day of my life has gone by that I have not eaten cheese, and if I live right, it will not.
Sounds like the Summer of George!
That’s interesting. My Wife and I will make a pot of something on the weekend and have it for dinner all week.
I’ve been eating chicken shish kabob one meal (sometimes two) everyday since Friday night. I’ll finish that last of it today
If I had to pick one though, It would probably be homemade beef stew with the works in it.
Barbeque, Texas Style. Brisket, ribs, sausage, turkey, a bottle of Salt Lick Original sauce, some pickles, onions, jalapeños and Buttercrust white bread. A huge glass of unsweetened Iced Tea. Do we get sides too? Beans, potato salad and creamed corn will do nicely. And don’t forget the peach cobbler with vanilla Blue Bell!
Cereal. I love breakfast in general but I could eat cereal everyday for the rest of my life and be very happy.
Specifically, Honey Nut Cheerios and Quaker O’s. Those two are at the very top of my list.
Yogurt. Which I pretty much do all day, every day. Now into the Greek kind, c. 55% of the calories of the conventional “lowfat” kind…
As others have noted, there’s really two different questions being asked here.
Foods I’d have no problem eating for every meal:
Bacon
Cherry Garcia ice cream
Corn of the cob
French fries
My mother’s chicken parmesan
Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
Shrimp cocktail
Supreme pizza
But if I had to pick just one food that would be the only thing I could eat from now on, I’d pick pizza.
Are my nutritional needs met even if I don’t eat? If not, do I have to consume my normal caloric intake of this food, or is some nominal amount sufficient?
I don’t think there’s any food that I could more than a couple of times a week before tiring of it. I’d pick water if I were forced to consume something daily and it was somehow magically nutritious.
Pizza or ice cream, assuming I could take advantage of the many varieties available. (My favourites are pizza quattro stagioni and Ben & Jerry’s Phish Food, but I don’t think I’d want a steady diet of either by itself.)
Lady who works for me brown-bags a PB&J sandwich nine out of ten times - unless she has some fried chicken or BBQ left over from the night before. Works for her, but that would bore me insane!
