What's the one food you can eat all day, every day?

Or, to put it another way . . .

If you had to choose only one food to eat for the rest of your life, what would it be? Assume that your nutritional needs would magically and automatically be met regardless of choice, and you do not have to concern yourself over health issues (e.g., gaining weight, feeling sick, or suffering any health complications). You also don’t need to worry about getting the food in the first place; imagine that the food mystically appears before you whenever you wish, prepared exactly as you desire. (You can’t share the food with anyone else in this way. Only you may eat it.)

Also, bonus question, what would you choose if desserts were not available? Or would you even select a dessert in the first place?

I’ll kick this off: red velvet cheesecake, as prepared by The Cheesecake Factory. All day, every day, baby. There’s no chance that I’d ever tire of this.

And if no desserts were allowed: french fries with copious amounts of ketchup. I don’t care from where or what style; I’d mix it up.

(I am actually really thin in real life, I swear!)

Well, the two questions (the title and what’s phrased in the OP) are quite different. To answer the question in the title, that’s easy: Jif Creamy peanut butter and milk, two foods that I do have every day.

OTOH, one food item for the rest of my life? Ugh… fried chicken, I guess, as long as I can make it in a variety of styles.

Would have to go through a LOOONG list of foods before I even think about desserts.

I like dessert; but I could not eat the same one even twice in a day. I really like my home made potato salad and mac and cheese; but again only once a day or even week. The only food I could absolutely eat daily and more than once a day is McCann’s oatmeal. It tastes so good to me just plain I do not require any amendments.

Premium mixed nuts, or french fries.

Most days I mostly live off of my nuts (heavy raw almonds), roasted chick peas, dried fruit mix. Good mix of textures and flavors I like and satisfy well.

Deserts don’t appeal so much but I like dark chocolate on the bitter side.

Rats, I guess the thread title is a different question, isn’t it? I should have changed it after typing the body text. My intention was “If you had to choose only one food to eat for the rest of your life . . .” as given in the post, but feel free to answer either one.

Maybe I was presumptuous about people favoring dessert? Perhaps my friends and I share a serious sweet tooth.

McCann’s oatmeal sounds interesting, though . . . I might have to try it.

Stuffed pizza from Giordano’s. No doubt about it.

Pepperoni, sausage and extra cheese, if I had to be specific.

Is scotch food?

Osaki brand fish cake, sprinkled with a little Old Bay. “Crab sticks” for all you round-eyes. The Asian grocery store always has two different brands and for the longest time I couldn’t remember which was “the good one.” It’s Osaki.

What’s the one food you can eat all day, every day?

Gross dude.

Pizza for me, please. As per Calatin, ham (Canadian bacon) [Yes, I know there’s a difference], sweet sausage, extra, extra cheese, if I had to be specific.

(There’s just not enough cheese in the world)

A little olive oil and some pepper is all it takes to make even the chewiest, stringiest specimen delicious.

That’s because I’ll be eating it.

As to one food that I can eat all day every day (but would not want to eat exclusively) – eggs, cooked just about any way. Soft-boiled and fried over-medium are my favorite.

As to what food I would eat if I had to eat it forever, I’ll go with one of my wife’s beef stews – she makes one with pureed eggplant, beef chuck, and tons of veggies that we serve over rice that’s just amazing. It’s also pretty nutritious, I think.

Lebanese or Greek.

More precisely, shawarma or souvlaki platters.

Any/every day.

Because of the varieties–Sushi

Almond paste, right out of the can. Shit be like crack.

The thing is, there are foods in the past that I’ve had so frequently that upon trying to eat them, I would involuntarily gag. So I know what eating a food every day (or nearly every day) can do to your enjoyment of a food. It’d be sad to have my favorite food ruined for me in this way.

However, I feel as though hot dogs and pizza may be able to survive this ordeal and stay palatable the entire time. Maybe.

I’d say pho, tamagoyaki, or strawberry shortcake but I think realistically I’d be gagging those back out after 10 years.

I used to eat a tuna fish sandwich for lunch everyday 5 days week year after year and always looked forward to it. peaunut butter and jelly with milk is another. Neither are my favorites but I seem to never tire of them.

Eggs.

Fried, boiled, poached, scrambled, shirred, staken (not shirred), omelettes, coddled, deviled, pickled, umm… ratted.

How could you get bored?
