Got arested by Shore Patrol TWICE…neither was really my fault. One for being in the EM’s club when a fight broke out over the 1982 world series…i left as brawl started but SP though i was in on it…NOT…second was for cliff diving, ok, i was guilty there…ahhh Gitmo…gotta love the goats and Iguanas.

I’ve never been to Midway Island, but I work with folks who are doing the Hawaiian Monk Seal protection project out there - trying to keep the pups safe (especially females) for their first winters. Unfortunately, it’s not succeeding and when they presented a slide show on it a month ago, one mentioned that the population is decreasing at about 3% a year. We can reasonably expect that without major intervention, the Hawaiian Monk Seal will be extinct by 2040.
