What's Trump's October Surprise?

I know, and yet, “hunter Biden” over and over.

I’ve already voted, and technically was registered as a Republican in 2016 in Ohio (to vote for Kasich over Trump in the primaries), so I would be unlikely to get said email.

That being said, if I hadn’t yet voted and did get that email, I’d immediately contact the FBI and cooperate fully with them, and be even more motivated to vote Trump out than ever.

This right here. This is my entire family of in-laws who have lived in rural Ohio their entire lives. They are fed a constant stream of propaganda and honestly believe everywhere outside their rural cornfield existence is anarchy and chaos. It doesn’t matter that when they visit us in Columbus they can see that the city is not burned down, blacks are not killing people in the streets and rioting, that the gay and lesbian friends/neighbors are just normal people who are friendly and kind to them. Nope, America has been destroyed by libruhls and only Trump can stop them.

Actually, this story is on the “front page” of the digital Washington Post today, above the “virtual fold”:

Surprise!

How many times are they going to run the “OMG! Someone associated with a Democratic candidate used email!”? I think most of the voters have correctly observed that Hunter Biden is not on the ballot.

I wonder if it’s ever so possible that the man fooled by Borat may have been susceptible to being fooled by trained foreign intelligence agents.

Jesus. The man is non compos mentis. Someone needs to protect him from himself during his obvious and public mental decline.

Are we sure he wasn’t stupid all along?

He has been stupid for a long while, but he has now descended into senility as far as I can see.

Right, if it’s that easy for a comedian to get him in a compromised position, then how about trained foreign service agents.

I supported Giuliani’s brief presidential run, and I can’t tell if I changed or he did. Maybe both. But, either way, I’m embarrassed.

In 2007/8, when Rudy was running for president, I had a client in Washington, DC, and would fly into Washington Reagan every month or two for meetings with them.

The day after Guiliani dropped out of the presidential race in early 2008, I was at Reagan, waiting for my flight home to Chicago, and a gift shop there had “Rudy 2008” t-shirts on sale for $1. I bought one, because I can always use a t-shirt that I care nothing about, for wearing while I do yardwork.

More coverage:

… Some of the emails were purportedly sent by the Proud Boys, a far-right extremist group with ties to white nationalism that has clashed with law enforcement during recent protests. But cybersecurity experts say the origin of the messages is unclear, suggesting some of the emails appear to have originated from an Estonian server. The Proud Boys chairman has denied the group was involved.

Problem for the Proud Boys is that it is believable that they sent out the e-mails and their denials have to be verified.

I was never a big fan of his and had no interest in his presidential run, but as mayor of NYC he handled 9/11 really incredibly well. It’s strange to see him embracing the Trumpster Fire so enthusiastically now, but then that’s true of a lot of Republicans.

The newest euphemism I’ve read about this is “tucking in my shirt.”.

I read the article on Wapo and could not remember ever cringing or shuddering so hard seeing the news. I still want to see the movie, but I won’t be able to watch that scene.

Looks like the FBI is about to announce their October surprise.

Of course, Individual-1 will state that he’s checked with his buddy Vlad and it’s all fake news.

I disagree. I lived in lower Manhattan at the time, but that’s another thread. There probably was one.
