Since yesterday afternoon (at least), Netflix won’t show all of the titles in my queue, and if I do a search for an actor or a title, it just takes me to the “Based on these three movies you said you enjoyed, here are some other titles we think you’ll enjoy” page.
I’m not concerned, just annoyed. Should I assume this will sort itself out soon? Does it do this for you?
Yeah…should that be a problem? I had about 495, and now it says something like 447. And I can’t search for titles! What is up with that? muttering to myself
Their website can be a bit gnarly. I’ve had a few problems myself from time to time that have been limited to just my computer. Try all the usual browser tricks - clearing chaches and cookies, making sure you’ve got the latest version of Flash, yadda yadda yadda.
My queue has 300+ titles divided into four groups: movies, TV shows, documentaries, and concerts. All arranged from A to Z – well, some of the box sets are mixed up, but I can live with that. It’s actually a very easy system to maintain if you keep up with it. The top 20 slots are used for whatever I want delivered next, although sometimes I fall behind and wind up with Adaptation, After Hours, and All the President’s Men sooner than expected.
As for the OP’s problem…no problems here, though it’s always a little quirky. I had a few titles vanish for several weeks, plus the numbering itself was messed up (went 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, etc.) but eventually it fixed itself. Call customer service, if the problem doesn’t go away.
