What's up with the Nazis question?

I notice there are five or six threads on GQ today about Nazis, and several also about Fascists. (I actually counted them, but I forgot the number by the time the “Post New Thread” screen came up. It’s bad to get old.) Is today Nazi day or something? The only thing I can think of is the anniversary of D-Day last week.

Mind you, the questions don’t seem to be inflammatory or anything. Maybe someone posted a question and it reminded several others about questions of their own. I’m just curious to know if I missed something in the news or one the calendar.

I’d guess your surmise is correct; people saw one question about nazis and it triggered other related questions in their minds.

That or the History Channel is having another “Hitler-thon”.

Seriously, I have no idea. But CBS just greenlighted a miniseries about the life of Hitler. See, no one can forget the Nazis! I think.
