What's white on the outside and brown on the inside?

A Native American whose behavior is too white is sometimes called an apple- red on the outside and white on the inside, get it? A black person who behaves like a white person is sometimes referred to as an oreo- black on the outside and white on the inside.

I’ve tried hard to think of something which is white on the outside and brown on the inside, unsuccessfully. Other than myself, I mean. Can you help?

“Eminem”, “Ali G”?
Failing that, “mushroom”.

I was going to say Eminem but I was beaten.

I think thats just called a wigger. No food metaphors that I’ve heard.

Twinkie - yellow on the outside, white on the inside.
Oreo/coconut - black on the outside, white on the inside
Apple - red on the outside, white on the inside

To my knowledge, I don’t think these food metaphors go in the opposite direction. We just have terms for them like weeaboo, wigger, etwc.

Some breads.

Pressure-cooked eggs.

One of those yogurt covered snacks? Or a chocolate cake with white frosting of some sort? There must be one of those that has a name.

Mmmm, cake.

A south Texas home with severe mold problems, or a batch of marshmallows due for recall.

Rachel Dolezal?

A white chocolate Hershey’s Peanut Butter Cup. Kind of awkward as a slur, though.

A Snoball.

Okay, they’re white on the outside and then brown on the inside - and then white again inside the brown. And sometimes they’re pink.

It’s not a perfect metaphor.

BTW, Ben (the white guy) was raised in Hong Kong and speaks perfect formal (Beijing) Mandarin, but poor Cantonese.

That’s wrong, sorry. The whites turn brown the shell stays whatever it started as.

I pressure cook eggs often and the whites always remain white.

Banana= Asian person who acts white (yellow on the outside, white on the inside)

To answer the OP, hmmmm… yogurt covered raisin, Nutella sandwhich, Milano, Corn dog

You haven’t done it long enough for the Maillard reaction to do much. We’re talking hours.

Cook a marshmallow in the microwave long enough and they will burn in the middle while still being white on the outside.

A golf ball.

The little heap of snow that covered my dog’s last dump.

A Marmite sandwich.

Or peanut butter/ Nutella/ chocolate/ etc.

Those awesome rum cookies/balls my mom makes for Christmas.
