I’ve tried several times this morning to make some text small sized.(The word “sized” was supposed to be at size=1) It doesn’t work. Big (size=4) did ok.
I tried both the pulldown, helper menus and coding it myself.
I’ve always been able to “whisper” before.
I use Safari on a G-5 iMac with OS 10.4.3. I did a security update yesterday, but nothing else.
The word “sized” in your post IS small, at least to me.
Did you change the default size in your browser? IE renders text incorrectly when you do that. It’s possible Safari does the same.
On my machine, the size 1 “sized” actually looks a little larger than the rest of the line. The size 4 sample looks bigger, though.
I use IE. I don’t remember adjusting the font size. I’ll have to probe around see where to find it.
Okay, I found text size under “View,” and I reset it to “medium.” Now it looks correct. The main part of the text didn’t seem to change, so I wonder what the point of the control is.
Check your browser settings using this as a guide:
Size 1
Size 2
Size 3
Size 4
Size 5
Size 6
Size 7
Mind you, we are referring to browser settings people!!
I haven’t changed any setting in my browser, in fact I haven’t been on line for a couple days.
I did have a strange little glitch in my mail after someone opened a piece of spam, where my address book was replaced by gibberish, but, that was fixed a few days ago.
Let’s see if it healed (that was supposed to be size 1)
Duckster, my browser has no such options. Besides, your size 1 is normal where it should be itty bitty.
