What's your favorite TV night these days?

Tuesday- Face Off, Chopped, when it’s on Deadliest Catch

Monday is a close contender but I can never be sure when my PBS shows might be replaced for the night. - Antiques Roadshow, Market Warriors, Top Gear

Sunday. AFV followed by PBS.

bump

Right now it’s Wednesday (Southland and The Americans), followed by Tuesday (Justified). That will shift this coming week when Justified ends and Mad Men begins.

I don’t have one, because I only have three shows I watch (Elementary, CSI, and Doctor Who) and they’re all on different nights. I will DVR the first two and watch them on another night if I’m busy, but as a freshly minted Whovian ain’t nothin’ gonna get in the way of my Who fix. So by that explanation I guess as of this last weekend it would have to be Saturday, at least until we run out of new episodes again.

Thursday, 'cause of Big Bang Theory.
Otherwise: Bones, NCIS and Dr. Who are about it. And movies. Lots of movies.

Wednesday:

Modern Family
Duck Dynasty

Duck Dynasty is freakin’ hilarious. I love this show.

Just so we’re all on the “same page” for favorite nights, I’ll put up a new poll next Monday. So your favorites today may change by that time. It may even be fun to compare things after 20 or more will have voted in the new one.

And we’ll surely need a blank slate by end of summer.

Can you think of another major change in schedule before September?

Sure: Nurse Jackie is coming back, along with Breaking Bad, Veep, and maybe a couple of others I can’t think of right now.

Sunday seems like the serious TV night. Not all concurrently, but it has Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Walking Dead, Dexter, Top Gear, Football… what else is there? The remnants of Community I guess. Almost all the good stuff is on Sunday.

Forgot Homeland for Sunday shows. But also The Americans which one of the few non-Sunday shows that are any good. Feels like it should be a Sunday show, but I guess it’s kind of crowded :stuck_out_tongue:

Thursday is Project Runway night!
I’m a sucker for the “reality” shows

Mu.

Seriously, TV scheduling has lost what little relevance it ever had for me. I have only the vaguest notion when a few shows air, and that’s only because discussion of a new episode picks up around then. I watch stuff when I want to watch it.
