What's your favorite Weird Breakfast?

another vote for cold pizza.

Also, rice & milk, with a little salt. Heated. Yummy.

Tommy’s Egg Burger with Chili.

Another for cold pizza. But I do like to warm it up.

I’ve also inherited the habit, from my mom, of eating dinner leftovers for breakfast, cold.

My absolute favorite breakfast food is cold bluberry pie. My mother used to make pies all the time during my childhood and in order to grab the last slice I would eat the last of it for breakfast. There’s nothing better.

OH, I LOVE having leftover desserts for brecky!

Peanut butter on toast with syrup.

YUM! (If, incredibly sinful…)

Mmmm. Limburger and vidalia onion on marble rye toast, washed down with a cold pilsner.

**ricepad ** said: First, cook up a batch of rice…after it’s done, serve up a big bowl, and crack a raw egg over the top, then mix in some soy sauce. Slurp it up before it gets cold and lumpy. mmmmmm!

Yummmm!!! You took the words right out of my mouth!

Actually, I usually added two shakes of MSG on that, and sometimes, some nori seaweed. And really, it’s better to crack your egg over a second bowl, and mix it up really well with your chopsticks and get that soy sauce mixed in first.

Weirdest breakfast I ever had was a big bowl of licorice ice cream.

Oh man…this could be love…

Mrs. ricepad has weaned me from the MSG, so I don’t use it on anything anymore…but thinking about this yesterday make me hungry, so I cooked up some rice…cracked an egg…poured in the shoyu…and topped it off with nori!

Kimchi, rice, and miso soup.

I love cold lasagna for breakfast.
Also, cold leftover mashed potatoes with baked beans (stir it up and eat it right out of the Tupperware).

I mentioned this over in the Salting Watermelon thread, but it really goes here, although I don’t limit this to just breakfast.

Tuna and eggs. Mix 3 eggs with a can of tuna, pour in frying pan, scramble.

Yum!

once, on a dare, I licked the bugs off the grill of my truck… Kinda ejoyed it. On very rare occasions I will skip breakfast and lick the bugs when i get to work(only if they are fresh) I once thought that eating insects was nasty, but I found out they arent that bad. taste sorta like gravy without any salt. My co-workers dont think its that strange though.(they are the ones who dared me!!!)when its rainy, and we cant get started, we somtimes cook some breakfast over an open fire, or on the woodstove in the shed. Somtimes its somthing as common as eggs or grits, but if somone had any luck coon hunting or happened to snare a freshwatter eel, we will cook it too.

My favorite weird breakfast is a variation on yours. I take a spoonful of peanut butter, pour pancake syrup over it, stir it together to get a peanut buttery syrup, and sop it up with hot buttered biscuits. Ummm-mmmm!

Oh, and my grandmother used to make a homemade chocolate syrup out of cocoa, water, and butter. We would spoon it over hot buttered biscuits as well. Deee-lish!
