IIRC, the back story to this vid was that the lady’s daughter had died somehow and the older lady was merely trying to smear the woman’s dead daughter by implying she was a pothead even though it had absolutely no bearing on the cause of death.
My only regret for this vid was the deceased’s mother didn’t knock her all the way out.
Edit: Here was one of the explanations in the comments.
The David Niven thread, lead me to Casino Royal (The 60’s one) which lead to Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass, and that lead me to this before MTV, Go-go dancing “extravaganza” of the Tijuana Taxi:
Who knew most Mexican dancers were white and blond down in Tijuana?!
I’m pretty sure that this video was the subject of a thread here a while back, but I can’t find it. IIRC, the explanation goes something like this:
The scene is at a courthouse during (after?) a murder trial. Woman ‘A’, who threw the punch, is a relative of the murder victim. Woman ‘B’, who got hit, is a relative of the defendant, and was speaking ill of the victim. Woman ‘A’ didn’t care much for those comments.
I rated it four (pretty cool). I like Natalie, but I really prefer her jazz numbers. She’s as good in that genre as anybody ever. I love on this clip that so many people in her audience sing with her she could almost have left the backups home!
If they had given him a little longer we probably would have heard that the CIA is attempting to practice mind control on him. Of course, his having a mind would make that a whole lot easier.
