Here is another one:)
And sisterhood of the traveling pants is good.
It just occurred to me that that is a real movie title. But not one you’d expect a young guy to rent. . .unless he had his girlfriend over that nite.
Mine’s this one Malebox - Taking Off All My Clothes Off. I’m biased though, one of the guys in the video is a friend ![]()
I’m actually with you there. Back in 2000 or 2001, I was searching the Web for photos of a pretty Japanese actress named Aiko Something-or-other, and thereby stumbled upon some pirated MP3s of a Japanese pop singer named aiko, which somebody had posted to his Web site. Despite not understanding the language, I was completely smitten by aiko’s music. Since then I’ve purchased six of her CDs (at around $30 a pop, because they’re imported). Without those pirated MP3s, I would never have even heard of aiko and her music, and naturally wouldn’t have bought the CDs.
A buddy of mine put a bunch of photos together with music to make a film clip.
Word of explanation: he’s more touchy-feely than the crowd here, or myself even. It’s not that he’s credulous (in fact, he’s set me straight on a few things where he knew more about the mechanisms behind it, like inbreeding not necessarily being a Really Bad Thing) it’s that he’s into seeing the spirituality of existence. In other words, scientific thinking is very valuable, but so is appreciating the wonder and beauty of the universe.
So anyway, I’m linking to it because I thought he did a good job with the compilation and music and I’d appreciate it if you guys didn’t leave comments ripping him a new asshole for not being a Skeptic with a capital S.
Tell your friend it was beautiful. And don’t worry about skeptics, as there are very few of them on this board. A skeptic doesn’t doubt everything — he *questions * everything, including his own skepticism.
I don’t remember now what I did post before, but I don’t think it was this. Any kids today who think they’ve got dancing down should see this clip. You could probably lose five pounds doing this one dance number.
Speaking of great dancers, here’s a great clip of Al Minns and Leon James dancing, as set to a really great hip-hop tune: Link.
(I’m pretty sure I’ve posted that before, but it’s worth seeing again. I wish I could dance like that.)
I’m partial to these:
Surfing at Jaws off Maui(Yes, it’s real)
and
I’ve always loved the way these crazy kids dance. Especially Salah, the guy in the hat. He is probably the best in the world for this style and in this video he is taking it easy. Some of his other stuff on youtube will melt your noodle.
No Sheep for You on BT Toronto
could it be because I made the little glass sheep mentioned at the end ?
Well, this one isn’t, strictly speaking, a “YouTube” clip, but it’s still…well…
…Just see it for yourself.
…Y’know, this clip seems suddenly appropriate. 'specially at around 1:50. ![]()
Here’s an adorable, new one:
Alec Baldwin’s School for Parenting: Glengarry Glen Ross University.
Playing Mario can be frustrating.
ETA: It might be NSFW since it contains adult language.
Not only is the video interesting, but so is the Mario hack. It’s amazing what people can do with classic games.
Half of this is an advertisement for the site it comes from, but the first 1:15 is priceless: Revised Spider-Man 3 Trailer
Apparently, the film went way over budget, so they needed to get licensing deals. This is the result. Everyone needs burgers sometimes, even Spider-Man!
In 1945,a young girl named katu lata kulu came over to America in a grey boat from Africa. A mysterious man killed her by cutting the word “LATUALATUKA” into her back. now that you have read this message she will come to your house on a full moon and steal your soul unless you follow these directions:
Sorry. Just had to be done in this thread sooner or later.
I’ve been enjoying the Cowboy Hey Ya for the last few days.
Not to be confused with the Hippie Hey Ya, which has already been mentioned here.
