First off, I apologize if any of the mods think I’ve mis-placed this thread, I’m assuming that this is the place for talk about games as the long-running “Diablo 2” thread is located here.
Anyway, the title says it all, what’s your lowest online mini-golf score?
And my lowest score is a 21, but a friend of mine holds the known record in our little corner of PA with a 20. Personally, I’ve gotten a hole in one on all of the holes, as has he, just not in one game.
This was up on these boards a year or so ago. I got down into the low 20s consistently. One guy I work with spent a whole day at home figuring out each hole, and shot an 18.
If you spend the time, you can figure our exactly which arrow your aiming line should cross…
I used to play this game a lot on a different site. I am inclined to think it had harvard somewhere in the url? Anyhow, on that site it allowed you to shoot with more power (because there was more space to move your mouse outside of the course) which is required for one of the holes. I played it so often I was able to shoot a 19 (although I have got a hole in one on every hole) but my brother could consistantly get 18. When I played this time, the ball got stuck in a wall so I had to quit.
**drm ** You’re right at www.tekzoned.com ( click games link) there’s more of a border to get more power.
My best was 22 with,IIRC,14 aces, but I’ve * never * been able to ace #8.On the OP’s linked site I only managed a par(4)because of lack of power.Shot a 35 after having been away from that game for about 3 months,14 did me in (6),also because of power shortage (that ones unforgiving if your tee shot doesn’t stay on the crest of the hill).
<hijack> I used to play at another site (9 hole?) that’s timed and the scoring goes into the 1,000s.Anyone know that one? My best was like 2800,but they had a best list at like 8,000.Always wondered how you could score that high.
19 was also my low. I’d screw up a fair bit, so I’d usually only score in the low 20s.
There was a hole (#16 or 17? I forget …) which required a really long 3-rail putt. That was a killer. If I got a hole-in-one there, it was sheer luck. I could pretty much always do it in two, though.
Once you have this one mastered, here is another to try (Shockwave). I don’t get the BBC references, still a good game. Sometimes you have to click just below the start-up butons to get going.
I have gotten aces on all of the holes…it’s getting them all in the same game that eludes me…I’ll have to check out some of these sites…if I can’t beat my friend’s low score, I can at least attempt a mastering of a new venue!
