Here is where you waste company time play mini golf on your desktop.
My best score is 29.

22 - but it took a about 2 weeks of play
I got a 42 after about 5 games. I think I need more practice.
Do you really want to be bragging to us about your mini-putts?
I have seen somone score 18. My best was 22, then I retired.
I hate hole #14. 9 over par.
Damn you. I played. I scored a 50 (4 over par on #12 was my worst hole). I have bookmarked this filthy bastard of a game. My life is over.
My best on this when it appeared on the boards a few months back was a 19. I can get a hole in one on every hole, just not all in one game.
I’ve gotten 20 numerous times. The holes I flub to keep from getting 18 keep changing. (Just did it again - goofed up on 5 and 11, which are easy. Used to just say that if I could do 4, 8, and 17, I’d have it in the bag. Then it was if I could get the timing right on the damned windmill hole. Now I’m not sure what it’ll take.)
But people have gotten 18, and it’s not surprising. Once you figure out how to do a hole right, it’s not that hard to do it right most to all of the time.
Well, I just got a 27.
You see the game was going around my office for a about a month before anyone clued me in on it. Then in about an hour I had the best score in the office by 2. So everyone here quit playing. I knew some dopers would have to beat 29.
But 20!!! 22!!! 19!!! 18!!!
Bastards.
How do you get a hole-in-one on #4?
4 - Drop ball in bottom right corner of the start box. Now, do you see the declined surface directly in front of the start box? You should, and you should also notice that theres evenly spaced tringles pointed right. Place the second furthest dot in the center of the 5th full triangle on the top. Hole in one.
Does this mean we can call you King Putz?
Or the Putz King?
How about #8 (the one shaped like a reversed, squared off ‘S’? I have NEVER been able to get the ball around BOTH bends, and I can’t seem to get enough of a ‘backswing’ in any case.
I once played 72 holes of REAL miniature golf (now there’s an oxymoron) in one day. Does that count for anything?
That’s nothin’, Cranky. When I was in between jobs for a few weeks one summer many years back, I used to go down to the local Putt-Putt in mid-afternoon when they had about zero business, and play the first 17 holes of each course repeatedly. I played more than 72 holes in an hour and a half, probably.
#8: drop ball in bottom left corner. You’re going to place the farthest dot even with the bottom edge of the first long thing you’re trying to get around. How far L-R is the question then. You see those faint vertical lines in the green of the putting surface? See the second line from the left? Place the dot on the left of that line so it’s just touching it.
Now if I could just get the timing down on the damned windmill…every time I think I have it, I manage to botch it when I’ve nailed holes 1-12.
I eventually had this game mapped out and could hit an 18 pretty easily.
For #8 I would shoot backwards, it allows for a larger backswing to get around the second 180°.
On the windwill you can use the grey stone-looking things to get around the windmill. You then won’t need to time the fan.
Keep shooting guys, you’ll soon get that 18. For better scores, write down where you place the ball and where you aim. That way when you ace a hole you can repeat the feat.
Is there some way to play one hole over and over instead of going through the whole course?
Oh and if you can’t make a dick (or sex) Joke from the thread title, it’s not a very good thread title.
Thanks, Frank, I knew you could hit the ball through them, but I didn’t know there was a hole-in-one shot that way. Now that I know, it’s time to experiment.
Zebra - if you’re in the middle of playing a hole, but haven’t yet holed your putt, right-clicking “Back” then right-clicking “Play” will re-start that hole. But you can’t go back to a hole you’ve completed, and the “Forward” is disabled; it makes you re-start the course if you click there.
Try placing the ball at a front corner of the mat. Aim for the wall just in front of the closest grey thing. You’ll bank off the wall and head through the grey-thing at an angle, hopefully banking off the back wall and in the hole.
