Yes, I have done it. After being hooked on this crap from that thread from yesterday, I have broken 30 on Mini-Putt. From examining previous holes-in-one and such, I think if I play a flawless round, I can possibly get it down to 26. Maybe 25, but every hole would need to be flawless. As it was, my round of 29 included 8 holes-in-one, 9 two putts, and 1 three putt (on #17, a par 4, one I don’t think can be done in less than two, and perhaps not even that.)
My lowest so far has been 51 :o But I am not one to quit, no sireee, I’m gonna keep playing till I break 48 at least. Or maybe I should make that a round number like 40. I might as well challenge myself, maybe I’ll shoot for 35.

(upon preview) Well, if you want to go for highest, I win with 61
22, just got it last night. If I can figure out how to consistently hole the windmill, maybe 21.
I don’t know the correct way to hole 17 (tho I managed to do it just once) but I do know how to do it in two putts every time. Drop the ball in the bottom right corner. Aim backwards at the top left corner such that the dot closest to the ball is touching that corner. The ball will be hit so hard and crazily, it will bounce through the incline and end up about half the green away from the hole. From there, it’s only a matter of good aim for the second putt.
Well, I took your advice on 17 SuprChickn, and figured out how to hole a few more holes, and managed 24 just now. What I need is how to consistently hole #4…it’s making me mad. I’ve holed it once, but didn’t notice where the cursor was. I can consistently get 2, but not 1. My 24 round had 12 holes in one and 6 2s.
Hole 8 is a 2 putt hole for me. Place ball bottom left corner, aim as hard as you can at the exact center point of the opposite wall, and it should carom all the way to within about a cm of the cup.
12: This is an easy hole in 1 for me…place top right, aim so the line extends so it’s about 2 triangles below the midpoint on the top ramp, and aim at the hole.
Place top right, aim just right of the hole (not at it, and not straight), power so that the furthest dot is hole high. Should bounce off back and into the hole…if done right. I get a hole in 1 about every 3rd try on that…but I’m getting better.
4: Ball lower right, put final dot exactly halfway between 4th and 5th triangle on the top row…hole in one every time.
5: Ball upper left, put final dot exactly dead center on the corner block. Hole in One.
So, now all I need to master are #15, and the #17 hole in one, which I got once, but couldn’t remember just how far to extend the line…I’ll keep a tryin’!
Jman (who’s gotten a ton of 25s recently, but hasn’t broken 24 yet…soon, and the 22 will come!)
Ah yes. Hole number 8. One of the last three I mastered. Here’s what I do:
Position the ball in the bottom right of the tee box.
Line up the sixth yellow dot to be on the same level as the bottom of the second to bottom horizontal bar. It should positioned so that the bottom pixel of the bar (which is a slightly different color from the rest) is still visible. Now carefully move the dot leftward (maintaining its height) until your putter cursor is as far to the right as possible. Then click and go. This works on my monitor which is set to 800x600 resolution. It may not work on others. Here’s a diagram:
P is your putter symbol; B is the ball; X is about where your last star should be. The numbers are the flight path of the ball. It probably won’t come out here, but cut and paste using a fixed width font like courier and it’ll make sense.
I’ve shot a couple of 33s. Some of the holes are easy really. For those having problems on 18, hell I had a damn 14 once. I shot straight with the power being just beyond the bar, then aim just above the hole with the power at the hole, goes in every time.
Now how does one get a 1 on hole one? no problem getting 2 but have only gotten one hole-in-one. maybe we should do a hole by hole hint.
