If I found out my husband was having unprotected sex w/ porn stars while also having unprotected sex w/ me, I’d need hospitalization. I’d wonder how many others there were, and were they in my home? Has staff lied to me to protect my husband’s secrets? What effect will it have on my son when he finds out the whole truth?

Put me in the “she’s depressed, stressed, and/or fed up” camp. My guess is that the original medical issue was more or less as reported, but she’s not springing back from the recuperation process particularly well; she’d rather not have to make the considerable effort required to lead her life in the public eye right now.

I don’t think highly of Melania Trump; anyone who would marry Donnie in the first place clearly has messed up values. But I almost - not quite, but almost - feel sorry for her. I can’t blame her if she totally hates her life right now.

I think the same things about her just feeling DONE. I used to despise her, but my pendulum has moved just a teeny bit to the “feel sorry for her.” She so clearly hates Trump and what he’s drug the family into.

I wonder how much Mel knows about Trump’s crooked dealings and if she’d testify against him.

I’ve been wondering if she maybe had a black eye or other facial injury. Maybe as a result of a domestic altercation, maybe not. But good reason to hide. And it happens. I have a small ( thankfully) bruise under my eye right now, I was fumbling for my iPad while half asleep and managed to jab the corner into the bottom of my eye socket.

If you think about it, most Presidential couples have been pretty good marriages, even when you look in the closet. The Reagans and Carters seemed like happy couples. The first Bush is said to have dallied, but he and Barbara seemed happy in their marriage anyway. For all Bill Clinton’s voracious adultery, his arrangement with Hillary carries on as strong as ever.

In a sense, of course, perhaps this is to be expected; becoming President is an insanely difficult thing, and it sees likely that a disproportionate number of men who has accomplished it would have to have wives who are both supportive and equally dedicated.

I think in the above cases the family was consulted before the presidential run and their opinions seriously considered. And these were experienced politicians who knew the downsides of a life in the public eye. They knew what they were getting into. The Trumps, not so much — I think Trump gave very little thought to what being President would really mean other than “ I’ll be the boss of everyone and I’ll get lots of attention”.

And these were experienced politicians who knew the downsides of a life in the public eye. They knew what they were getting into. The Trumps, not so much — I think Trump gave very little thought to what being President would really mean other than “ I’ll be the boss of everyone and I’ll get lots of attention”.

I still think he wasn’t planning on winning at all - he was planning to run as an extended PR / money-making stunt, lose narrowly, and then complain about how he was totally cheated while he went back to his golden tower to count his cash.
