Large Cafe Americano, two Sweet and Lows and half-and-half.
Beer. It’s not just for breakfast.
OK, not really. Either Diet Pepsi or carbonated water.
Two mugs of strong black coffee as I’m getting ready for work.
A travel mug of strong black coffee on the way to work.
Three more mugs of strong black coffee and two liters of water over the course of the workday.
If you’ll excuse me, I need to pee again.
Diet Coke - I was raised in Atlanta, after all.
However, lately I have switched to coffee with half and half and sugar.
Most mornings, Bigley’s Constant Comment tea, very hot, very strong, very sweet (with Equal).
Special treat mornings: coffee bought somewhere. I make crappy coffee, so I always buy it if I drink it.
Caffeinated soda. It has less caffeine than coffee, and yet for some reason wakes me up better.
Plain old Folgers fully caffeinated Colombian coffee with a bit of non dairy creamer and a bit of sugar. After that, its Coke Classic all day long; with all day meaning right up to bed time.
Coffee with cream and sugar. I’m not picky about the brand, but I prefer Colombian or French Roast, and it needs to be strong. If I’m going out to eat for breakfast at a restaurant., I don’t bother with coffee because it’s never got enough kick.
JOLT
It was better when it was made with pure cane sugar.
The first thing I do in the morning is stumble blindly to the coffee pot. I drink half a pot of the darkest blends I can get and make it stronger than most people would want to drink. Anything other than a tiny bit of nonfat milk ruins it, as does rewarming it in a microwave. Once it kicks in and I start feeling wired I go work out. I know it isn’t very healthy but it’s my favorite addiction.
Tea, basic Tetley orange pekoe. Two bags, one brown betty, in a mug with skim milk. Usually I drink two to three mugs every morning, hot and strong. Every day. Essential. First thing I do after I pee (and sometimes before) is put on the kettle for a pot of tea. If it’s a weekend, I will drink the whole pot and then make another pot. Hot, strong tea just satisfies me like nothing else.
At work, I drink coffee because it’s free, a Keurig thing, and I don’t feel like bringing in a proper teapot and milk.
I like to open the hot chocolate and mix it into coffee for a mocha some afternoons.
Coffeee with Splenda and whey protein powder.
Weekdays: Whatever large can of energy drink is on sale at the gas station. I’m partial to Monster myself.
Weekends: Bloody Marys made sizzling spicy hot and started with an ounce of Guinness in the glass and then the rest of the bottle as a back.
20 oz. Mountain Dew. Lasts me until first break at 9:00.
Water. I don’t need the crutch that is caffeine.
now I wake up to tea, either oolong on green, no sugar.
When I get to work it’s coffee, black, with a bit of sugar. Unless I’m at Yama Chubu Shu (Yamamuro Chubu Elementary School) those savages don’t put the coffee on till around 10, so I have to drink more tea
But back when I worked for Electronic Arts I would have my GO GO juice: Half a cup of coffee, 2-3 shots of espresso, and a packet of hot chocolate mix, stir it up and indulge
I have a half of a coffee mug with 1 tsp Benefiber, to wash down my morning pills. Then a cup of coffee with a generous splash of sugar free International Delight French Vanilla (with extra added crack! That shit is sooo addictive, I can’t drink coffee without it.)
Water on most mornings. Sometimes on Sunday mornings I’ll have a green tea.
Coffee, instant (usually granulated), milk and one sugar. Probably a habit from the days of being with my family who only drank tea. These days, tea is relegated to occasional, and coffee rules the morning. Part of my break with the past, perhaps.
About a pint of coffee with about a pint of (lactose-free) milk, mixed up with Splenda in a big tacky glass mug. Also counts as breakfast.
