I usually just drink the skim milk out of my cereal bowl. If I have something else, though, it’s tea. I have a wide variety, so I’ll pick whatever I’m in the mood for. Last time I made tea, it was Twinings Darjeeling. Usually it’s a black tea in the morning - for some reason, herbal/white teas seem better suited to later in the day. I have a giant mug especially for drinking tea. It’s the size of around 2 regular mugs, but 1 tea bag is about perfect for it. Sometimes I’ll add a splash of milk, but I usually just drink it straight.
I can’t believe I’m the first to say this—
A glass of milk. (I did see milk from the cereal bowl- but I don’t count it as it gets the flavor of the cereal as well. Although- if I have cereal- I will also drink this)
I will sometimes make a pot of coffee, but it is never before I’ve had a glass or two of milk.
Used to have a major addiction to coffee - pots and pots of the German strong stuff…and then stopped drinking coffee cold turkey, for no particular reason. Seriously cannot remember why I stopped drinking coffee, but just switched to Diet Coke instead.
I am a hypocrite. Just a day after stating this, I found myself getting a soda in the morning because I was falling asleep at work. :smack: So, 99% of the time I don’t need caffiene, but I suppose I shouldn’t have implied that I never do.
Morning beverage has been tea for… oh… over 35 years
Prefer loose leaf, but will use bags.
Used to prefer English Breakfast, Jasmine, or Earl Grey. Now that I’m poor, it’s more frequently Lipton’s or what’s on sale at Aldi, which can be surprisingly good.
