What's your Ringtone?

used to have a recording of my wife saying “smile, it’ll make yer butt tingle” for a ringtone, sigh, lost it in a phone transfer to a new phone some years ago and she’s never been willing to make a new recording for me.

My text notification tone is the “Bahk Bahk Bahk Baaahk” from the SuperChicken theme song.

Nobody has ELO or Jim Croce?

The guitar intro to Sweet Child of Mine.

General: the short entre’act movement from Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

For one particular friend, the Main Street Electrical Parade from Disneyland.

4’33" by Cage (I use vibrate).

Or Chuck Berry even.

I did have Blondie as a tone once. Does that count?

The default is the loud, classic telephone ring. My mother’s is one I made from Trevor Nunn’s production of Macbeth, Judi Dench screaming.

Ringtone: The Munsters theme.
Previously the Lost in in Space theme.

Message tone is a Star Trek communicator chirp.

All else defaults.

My ringtone is the James Bond theme.
My alarm is Rey’s Theme from The Force Awakens.

I’m ready to fight everyone in this thread. No phone sounds, ever. No one wants to hear your ringtones or notifications. Silent, or vibrate, if you must, but no cutesy ringtones or alerts.

If you absolutely must hear your phone for some reason (you don’t) then a plain phone ring, on low. LOW.

Queen’s “Nobody Stop Me Now.

I just now changed mine to a recording of a man stuttering and wheezing in a very high falsetto “Tip Toe thru the Tulips” at maximum volume.

an alarm, dummy. Some people need those to wake up for work.

How does a person who rarely wears pants supposed to know if their phone is ringing if it doesn’t make noise?

Sure does!

Pazu’s Theme from Castle in the Sky. I’ve been known to let calls slip to voice mail because I’m enjoying listening to it so much.

Weird Al-Ringtone.

I have specific ringtones for SWMBO and a few others. But my primary ringtone is based on my occupation as a Taekwondo instructor. When I’m not in the school, we forward the phone to my cell phone, which of course rings with Mortal Kombat.
