We decided it was going to be that name in Private Lives. Y’know, Noel Coward. And the was a name they had of someone they once knew they would say if they were in a dificult situation. Seemed very appropriate.
Problem is I could never remember it…but then I never used it

“Mffmffmrf” which sounds an awful lot like “mrfffmmfrm” but it has not been an issue so far. I find it’s good to maintain eye contact then anyway but some suggest an object held in one hand by the sub that can be dropped as a non-verbal safeword.
With ballgags in mind, the word (or phrase) “cock-a-doodle-doo” is my safeword of choice - although the words probably can’t be made out through the gag, it’s pretty distinctive (unless it’s a really, really good gag).
Tends to kill the mood a bit too… not sure if that’s good or bad.
“Solomon Isaacs”, “Sollics” for short. But it didn’t work out well. (Not that there’s any of that sort of stuff in Private Lives. At least, not the production I saw. :eek: )
