Sahirrnee, those are fine, fine choices there, oh yes.
My oh my Ms Moreno was bringing it, yessir. Thank ye kindly.
“Big Spender,” from Sweet Charity.
Er, I mean “L’Internationale…”
“Criminal” by Fiona Apple.
“Black Velvet” by Alanna Myles. Perhaps not good for stripping, but still sexy.
My favorites are The Chauffeur (not Rio!) by Duran Duran
If you are going to pick Duran Duran, shouldn’t it be Skin Trade?

I had totally forgotten about that song. That’s a good one for when I perfect my pole technique ![]()
Eighteen by Alice Cooper
Just about anything by P-Funk can get me dancing, but I don’t know if that’d be stripper music. I imagine that if I were a Magic Mike kinda guy, I’d want my show to have the energy and style to go with something from the Bosstones.
Answering what I thought the question was gonna be from the title, and with the shape I’m in these days, trying to imagine actually getting on stage in a place desperate enough to have me headline, I’m pretty sure the DJ would play something with this feel: Mad World - Gary Jules - YouTube
I’ve never done a strip routine, but if I did, onlookers might suggest…
“Doctor My Eyes” by Jackson Browne
“Look Away” by Chicago
“Don’t Kill the Whale” by Yes
“It’s a Mistake” by Men at Work

I’ve got large areas of skin that have never seen the sun, so maybe “Whiter Shade of Pale”!
Drop Dead Legs -Van Halen
Didn’t Mean To Turn You On - Robert Palmer
It’s difficult for me to forget No Ring Around the Rosie (Kix) while these strippers danced to it in their cowgirl outfits, complete with fake guns, and just the way they did the whole choreograph was something else, but I didn’t see it in person, but a 1988 movie called Johnny Be Good. The lyrics and the beat are perfect for strippers.
Porn Star Dancing by My Darkest Days
Video is mildly NSFW, no nudity just alot of grinding -
Great stripper song, so groovy!
A couple of my choices have already been stated, but not these two:
You Can Leave Your Hat On - Joe Cocker
Cowboy - Kid Rock (I suspect this is influenced by the movie Coyote Ugly, though.)
peek-a-boo
Siouxie and the Banshees
