they acquired the KC Masterpiece endorsement, they seemed to become mediocre by comparison. The flavoring seemed like it was changed to a less sweet variety. In addition, the amount of the barbecue flavoring seemed to be markedly reduced. I emailed and phoned the company no less than ten times before giving up. All that I ever recevied was “form letter” type responses. I have a feeling that the original formula is still out there somewhere.

There is a factual answer here. And the answer is that KC Masterpiece sucks. There is no gray area here, or is this a matter of opinion. If you want Kansas City sauce, go to Wal-Mart and get some Gates. Or go to Kansas City and gets some Arthur Bryant’s.
