Silly Graywolf, my mom has you beat by most of a week. She had to go back August 4th. (Of course, the kids didn’t come back till the 7th, but that still puts her in the lead.)
RickJay, the calendar is usually set up so the kids come back in early to mid-August (this year is unusually early for them), have a week off in October, have 2 weeks off at Christmas/New Year’s, a week off in the spring (usually in early April) and finish in mid to late May. They usually wind up missing a lot of days during the winter because of inclement weather or widespread sickness, and they have to make those days up, so the kids get their full 180 days of education. That puts them getting out right around the end of May.
