When the plague is over in the MMP

the luck meter’s taken a hit this weekend … remember how yesterday I blew the hose off the faucet because I forgot to turn it off ?.. Well, it gets better… Last night aunt actually cooked and it was looking great

she made spaghetti something that’s not a real fav with me and disabled cousin … she doesn’t like noodles and I’ve eaten spaghetti soo much as a kid due to laziness and poorness I can eat it twice a year and be good …

But she took time to cut up Italian sausage in it and she bought a better sauce than the 98 cent can of water that del monte calls sauce she usually buys so it was looking and smelling good she made up a huge plate of it and it had everything on it and … well she says she tripped on the cat and dumped it on the floor …so luckily the kitchen floor is tile so cleanup didn’t take long

Then tonight it’s my turn …aunt bugs me alll day about “go find something for dinner” so about 7:30 I finally did some fried chicken breasts that I could pop[ in the oven … .so I bring them out and turn on the oven … while I’m waiting for it to beep telling me its reached 425 there’s a smell coming from the oven and aunt says there was smoke but I didn’t see that ,

Turned the oven off and she opened it and I realized I forgot I had a small deep fryer with oil in it because we have almost no counter space and the oil was still good in it . …the plugin totally melted …and it was aunts favorite steamer/fryer, she wasn’t happy it was one of a few times I never checked the oven … so the rate things are going I might not make tomorrows MMP… and if you hear of a disaster in ca’s high desert … well that’s me going down in flames

Jeez, @nightshadea you folks are tripping over each other’s lives over there! My sympathies.

Obtained groceries - including lemons and limes for my avocado - and have a wealth of snackage options. Dinner shall be salmon and you guys, holy healthy alert a sallit, because apparently a body wants some green stuff here an’ there.

Also, sallit was a prepackaged thingie with even its own fork, which cuts down on dishes - hot water heater is out, so no cleaning things or self very thoroughly right now - but I’m feeling all kinds of healthy and self-righteous, if perhaps a bit sticky and stinky.

Very high in the Colorado Mountains, 11,200 feet. Summers are very short.

Ohhhhh… that 'splains it. :+1:t3:
