When will the whining over Hillary's loss end?

You won’t hear the “whining” stop for your lifetime. I’m certain that Trump and the Republican takeover are going to go down in history is the beginning of a rapid and permanent decline in America, and a major economic and political disaster for the whole world. Decades or even centuries from now historians will be probably be using Trump as an example of a historic disaster.

I understand people are worried. My mom pays almost 3k a year for a Medicare Advantage plan. We don’t know how badly the Republicans may screw up Medicare. Social Security is deeply personal to me and my mom. I may be drawing social security in another 8 to 12 years. Depends on when I decide to retire.

All we can do is trust our system of checks and balances. Whatever gets screwed up in the next 4 years can be fixed by a new President.

There are no checks and balances anymore; the Republicans control it all. Medicare is going away, Social Security is going away. So will the FDA, EPA, and every other constructive or protective function of the government. And no, they won’t be replaced with anything.

It’s also insulting to the large number of State’s that voted Republican. Like voters in America’s heartland didn’t understand Trump’s volatile personality. Or that he was proposing outrageous policies during the campaign.

Saying that they understood what Trump is like is insulting them.
