Whence this quote?

I’m not even sure I have it right but it’s been in my head since last night. “I’ve gotcha now, Popeye!”

The French Connection?

I don’t know the answer, but I do want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for using “whence” correctly.

Thought of that. The quote is probably from the past 15 years and character it references isn’t nornally called “Popeye”.

I had an idea. Perhaps it’s from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Mr. Rooney to Ferris at the back door. Can anyone verify?

Oh, forgot to say: “You’re welcome Mr. Marx. I probably should have included a verb though.”

Nobody? Maybe I should have said “from where” instead of “whence”.
