But if I might, I’d like to comment. The “Dopers of the World Unite” is just way too big (IMHO anyway). Wouldn’t it be easier (and more manageble) if we had separate maps for Eurodopers, Downunderdopers, Asiadopers etc?

Just one nitpick: in Photoshop, select Save A Copy… instead of save when you’re done changing your modifications layer. Then, you can collapse the layers and save the file as a new file type all in one step. This feature also reduces the risk of accidentally writing your flattened image over the original. (Yes, I speak from experience. Painful experience.)

Nearest big town: there is no nearest big town. We are the nearest big town. By road, I’m about 170 miles southwest of Midland, TX, and about 210 miles southeast of El Paso, TX, and about 80 miles due north of Big Bend National Park.
My mom used to watch Petticoat Junction. She says G.B. is really Hooterville, cause it’s the “big city” near Bugtussle (the town in that show), her nickname for O.F.
And since there wasn’t a smilie in my town yet, I’ll add myself in.
