I want to buy a CD off the internet tonight. Anyone know some URL’s to the places that sell them most reasonably. Has anyone found a site that is cheaper then the rest? BTW I want a New CD, not an auction, burnt CD, or MP3. Might buy a used one if its reasonable enough though. Thanks!
If you don’t mind used, go check Half.com . They sell used books, videos, CD’s, etc and all their merchandise is half the original price or less (although shipping can raise that).
From what I’ve seen, the online company which generally seems to have the cheapest prices on new CD’s is cdnow.com .
hey thanks! I will check em out. Anyone else?
I’ve checked on a few things (movies, CDs, etc.) and they have been cheaper than Amazon, BN.com, Borders.com, etc. Can’t say they’re always cheaper, but they have been on the stuff I wanted.
For example (this is on a video, not music, but same idea), I was looking for sets 5 & 6 of the Monty Python’s Flying Circus tapes. Buy.com was $20.49, Amazon was $25.95, and Reel.com was $25.99. Also, Buy.com has pretty decent shipping rates (I ordered two three-video sets and a two-cassette album, and shipping was only $5.85).
Try http://www.mysimon.com . It lets you compare prices from several places for a given item.
