I am building a ladder golf game for my wife. The bolas (the things you throw) require two golf balls each. I’d like to get 8 balls in two colors; similar to the golf balls you use at a miniature golf course.
I’d prefer to get an inexpensive brand since they won’t be used for golfing. I’d also like to avoid getting ones with cartoon characters (Target has SpongeBob balls). Finally, I’d prefer not to paint, dye, or otherwise color white balls.
Any suggestions on where I could buy these from? Will a regular golf shop stock them? Ideally I’d like to buy them tonight, but a web-store will do in a pinch.
That was a joke in case you missed it (or maybe it just wasn’t a very good joke). I was just amused that there is a web site that is so hyper-specialized and their domain name reflects it. That is a good thing though.
Thanks Bijou. Looks like I can get two sets of 12 for about $25. If anyone has a suggestion of a brick-and-mortar store, I would still appreciate that.

Have you looked at Walmart? Or any sporting goods store? Pretty sure I’ve seen at least orange and yellow golf balls on the shelf at Walmart…
For that matter, some golf courses, in the pro shop, will have a bucket of “practice balls” they’ve found on the course, and re-sell for less than new ones.

WalMart carries a bunch of various colors.
Look down on the lower shelves.
Plus Paula Creamer seems to have popularized the pink ones again.
Take a peek at the ones with the clear outer layer; they are pretty cool looking and come in different colors. Our local WalMart has some sleeves of three each with different colors.
Otherwise, if you look near the bottom of the page, you can get a dozen of mixed colors for $15. Seems like that would be a better choice, unless you’re making two games.
Well Target, WalMart, a golf store, and a sports store all let me down. I guess I’ll have to order them online. Or maybe I should hop the fence at the local mini-golf course and shag what I can out of the water traps?
I like them because the guys don’t hit my ball. They also have orange and purple.
