Do you hang on one board? Float around and post everywhere? Are there really “board cliques”? I have sensed animosity between the boards.
Myself, I post everywhere. I am trying to get enough posts to be recognized by the debaters. Not sure that’s possible though. They keep raising the benchmark.

I show up pretty much anywhere there is an interesting thread. I haven’t been to CCC or CMA mainly because the other forums keep me plenty busy.
I would never stay out of any particular forum just because I felt it was beneath me or I considered my words too big & important for MPSIMS. We all have something pointless to say once in a while.
For those of you who turn your nose up at certain forums, the only thing that gives us is a spectacular view of your nasal hairs.

I post mostly here in MPSIMS. I read the other forums, but I don’t post in any of them, unless I am a)asking a question, or b)absolutely certain that I am correct in what I am saying.

Sheeesh, Abner, relax. If you want to be “recognized” by the “debaters,” post an intelligent response to a debated point. If you want to appear to have knowledge, post a correct and intelligent answer in GQ, or the Responses to Cecil or the Mail Bag. If you want to appear ferocious, go flame someone in the Pit. (From what I have seen of your posts, you have all the necessary skills to post in MPSIMS.)
A good, solid, defensible reply to anything in GQ, GD, or the Responses Fora will get you accepted regardless of any jokes you have seen about newbies or needing more visibility.

I post pretty much anywhere, although I haven’t been an active poster lately. I tend to prefer Great Debates and MPSIMS, and rarely visit CCC at all. I usually read selected threads from the others, but seldom post to them.
