Where have the fizzy bubbles gone?

I would like to first say that I love this place and the people here are cool, intelligent and fun. Most of the posts are always interesting, entertaining, etc. This place is my “online-home” so to speak, and I like to think of everyone here as friends and neighbors.

Now comes that part I don’t like to say:

  • Is it just me, or have all the forums been boring, as of late?"*

I have a simple theory as to why this happening. People are tired of the delays during mid-day hours and posting has dropped significantly.

The past few weeks have been, well, like a can of flat soda, or a mug of warm beer. There’s just no zip, no tingle, and it isn’t very palatable.

There’s a few bubbles, here and there, but one really has to search to find them.

Can we all please, find a way to bring the fizz back to our threads?

I’m sorry you feel that way. I’ve been having a great time, especially in the Pit.

I try to avoid the pit at all costs. I simply don’t have what it takes to be a pitizen.

I don’t see a problem with the boards either. Although I was gone a few weeks. Maybe things got stale because I was gone and now it’s better cause I am back  Okay I pulled that outta my ass, but seriously I think it’s been great.

It’s because I don’t post as much.

Frankly there hasn’t been a good old fashioned flame war in the Pit for awhile. Come on people ! We need a nasty knock-down drag-out slobber knocker !!

Just, ya know, don’t involve me.

Actually some damned GDers came into the Pit the other day and proceeded to almost tidy everything up.
Get your stupid debate back in the fancy-pants forum, and don’t come back here until you can throw some curse words around like so much feces !! Its just sad I tell ya, sad.

Other than that I can’t say I have noticed too much of a drop in “fizz”. But hell, I’m only around in the middle of the night so I miss most of the good stuff anyway.

Check out the “I’m Having Serious Wolf-Ass” thread down in the Pit. It’s seriously funny and downright clever at times, unusual for the Pit.

Scylla’s post scored 6.0, but the contributors boosted it to at least a 9. I was laughing out loud several times.
