As an aside, have you ever noticed how often conservatives are “disgusted”? Anything and everything they don’t like or disapprove of seems to “disgust” them.
Turns out there may be a neurophysiological reason behind it.

His business cards read “Bow Wow of Bow Wow Wow, formerly of Sha Na Na, nephew of Snoop Doggy Dogg.”
I will probably regret asking this, but here goes anyway. Which posters on this site referred to Ms. Obama in that manner?
To their credit, Mormons apparently were so disturbed, and it helped make Utah one of the few long-term bright spots for the Dems on Election Night.
Cripes.
You know, the Stupid Republican Thread is full of ridiculous, hateful, and harmful antics by major figures in the GOP. And when some of the subject mattter is the minor players in the party (like county GOP heads saying deplorable racist shit) the local Righties get huffy and say we are concentrating too hard on bit players.
But here we have a guy who hasn’t been relevant in decades, who makes a tasteless tweet, deletes it, and gets no support from the few people who manage to see it. But the OP has a shitfit demanding that we drop all other concerns to condemn this low-rent clown.
Tell me ckalli1998, do you keep a monocle on your desk so that when you think you’ve found something you can shove it in your eye socket just to have it pop out from the shock you manufactured?
You can save the expense of monocle-purchase simply by shitting in your pants instead each time you experience manufactured shock.
Ah! very Ted Nugent-esque!
I’m not a fan of ‘both sides do it’ as an excuse in general. But IME the overwhelming majority of people nowadays who are highly political are hypocrites about this kind of thing. When it’s put in their face some will say ‘oh sure I condemn that’, but it’s often just tactical. I think the ones who deflect it with ‘but look what the other side did’ are actually being honest albeit more overtly illogical (‘if all the other kids jumped off a cliff, would you?’ Mom was right with that question).
Most very political people just don’t have human sympathy for the ‘bad guys’ on the other side. You’re talking about the right/left after all, bad people, who’ve chosen a bad ideology for their own selfish and immoral reasons. They don’t really deserve to be treated as fully human, though we of the rabid left/right are better than they are, and we’ll show it by pretending we still think the other side does deserve to be treated as we’d want to be treated, though we actually no longer do.
How so? Utah still went to Trump.
Trump-45.54% Clinton 27.46% McMullin21.54%
Oh, nonsense. Compare the reaction to this incident to the reaction to Congressman Richmond’s misogynist joke about Conway. A series of prominent articles in liberal rags like WaPo condemned it, and condemned Pelosi for insufficiently condemning it. No question but that the left takes this shit seriously and has lots of conversations about it–WHEN IT’S REAL. (And if the OP wants to condemn Pelosi for putting party above principle, I’ll be right there beside him.)
I’m sure it was just regular locker room stuff.
So, I think we’ve found the answer to the OP’s question.
Q: Where is the liberal and feminist outrage over misogynistic attacks on Melania Trump by Bow Wow?
A: Literally everywhere it is brought to people’s attention. Which is not very many places, but is exactly as many as you could reasonably expect.
The same cannot be said about Trump admitting to sexual assault, unfortunately.
Yeah, let’s give “Bow Wow” a ton of free publicity. Nothing ever goes wrong when you give an asshole a shit ton of free publicity.
“Why aren’t you hyprocrites outraged about this thing that barely anyone would have heard about!?”
In the months before the election, there was clearly a “revolt” against, well, Trump’s revolting character. In the end, Utah was clearly one of the states that Democrats can be happy about – one of those states gradually swinging away from Republican national candidates (however you choose to interpret the McMullin factor, or that a homeboy wasn’t one of the two major-party candidates) – compared to 2012, these states were Texas (6 percent swing), Arizona (5), Georgia (2), and Utah (24 percent!).
This reminds me of the Trumpista reaction to the Women’s March a few months ago. I had watched it via Social Media, I had read news reports, I had ewatched it on TV, I had friends who were there sharing their experiences. What was their story? The huge crowds, the camaraderie, the feeling that they had shown true numbers.
To the Trumpista crowd? It was all about the handful of celebreties who spoke (and were barely mentioned, even in newspaper reports) and that Madonna said some mean things.
Until the OP types manufactured some artificial-flavored outrage product, I doubt 99% of the participants and watchers of the Women’s March even knew Madonna had spoken.
Just to set the record straight, Jon “Bowser” Bauman of Sha Na Na is not related to either Snoop Doogy Dogg or Bow Wow. He’s 69 years old, with a wife and two kids (both graduates of Colombia).
He is, however, a Democrat…
I’m gonna wager Ukulele knew that…
What got me confused was the fact that they look so much alike.
