And herein lies the problem. You are NOT disgusted by the comments, only ‘the hypocrisy’ of the left. It’s cute that you think have a point and all, but seriously, there is a thing about outrage overload. I mean, I don’t have to take a swing at EVERY comment from every idiot. For instance, I let most of yours go.
To be outraged about Bow Wow, I would first have to know who Bow Wow is…and then I would have to CARE who Bow Wow is. Sorry, I do not. Neither do you.
Tell you what. If Bow Wow ever gets elected to something, we can talk.
How outraged was the OP when the man who is now president admitted that he doesn’t even wait [ for consent ] he just starts kissing women or grabbing them by the genitals?
Due to the latest sickening revelations, I hereby withdraw any support or endorsement for Bow Wow’s bid for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, and promise to do everything in my power to work against his potential nomination, election, or administration.
Someone on the right demands that everyone on the left apologize for and show their outrage over something said by someone on the left, as if we are some monolithic lockstep group.
While failing to notice that while we on the left will attack things said by the right, we don’t usually demand that every single right winger immediately denounce these things.
Otherwise, jacky-baby, I think we have a long list of things we’ll be asking your to denounce and apologize for on your side. Are you up for that?
Let’s start with Huckabee saying that Trump should ignore the Supreme Court just like President Jackson did in regards to the Trail of Tears. Obviously you must support the mass removal and deaths of thousands of people, since this was said by someone on your side, right?
Oh, that’s easy, upthread he said Trump ‘apologized’ and that makes it all better…
…if you ignore the fact that what he said was part of a constant trend of rapey behavior, a complete lack of respect for women in general, was not so much an apology but excuse-making (“locker-room talk”) and was pried out of the rapey President like he was having teeth pulled.
The OP’s attempt at outrage is a common tactic from the right, in my observation. Present some false-equivalency argument and then puff up like somehow they are making a valid point, all to distract from the true issue(s) at hand. I see it here all the time, and frequently with this particular poster.
Raise concerns about Trump accusing President Obama of “wiretapping” and the effect such an accusation has on undermining trust in government, to say nothing of the sheer indecency of the claim in the absence of proof, and a certain segment of the Right will instantly say, “But… but… Obama lied when he said if you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan!! What about that? Huh? HUH??” (It’s their go-to “lie” by Obama. Apparently there aren’t any others.)
Such an obvious false equivalency. Obama did not lie. He said what he believed was true based on the best information available at the time. It wasn’t until the administration learned that many private insurance policies on offer by insurance companies were substandard and would not provide the purchasers with hospital care that rules were put into place in the ACA requiring insurance companies to offer plans that met a minimum standard of care. In some circumstances, this caused some holders of these fraudulent policies to choose different, non-substandard insurance. Obama Administration closes the loophole that allowed substandard health care plans. So technically, yes, a lie – but an unintentional one.
Contrast this with Trump’s deliberate and irresponsible lie about Obama wiretapping Trump Tower, including the characterization of Obama as a “bad (or sick) guy.” A willful, reckless, revolting statement rested upon zero evidence, offered for the purposes of maligning the legacy of a successful president and distracting from Trump’s own failures. Worse, he orders Congress to investigate his no-evidence lie, and then when Congress goes through the motions of investigating the lie, he doubles down by failing to cooperate with the investigation. No real mystery as to why. He lied. He has no evidence to present. Despicable.
No parity with Obama’s “lie” whatsoever.
Yet the OP has repeatedly raised these false equivalency strawman-type arguments. It’s his go-to. It’s the go-to of many right-leaning individuals. They seem simply incapable of drawing distinctions on the finer points or thinking them through in a critical way.
She’s staying with her son Barron to be with him as a mother as he is finishing the school year in New York. That is a very Christian-like and motherly thing to do.
You damn well know the RNC doesn’t support sexual assault. However, I do want to make clear that I thank every single one of you who has condemned Bow Wow’s misogyny. Also, Michelle Obama was subjected to racist attacks, yes, and I was offended by them, but didn’t always hear about them since they came from low-level trolls and the like.
This is the first I’ve ever heard of Mr. Wow but I condemn his comments with the same degree of vociferousness applied by conservatives against some of the comments of Mr. trump.
Wow! What a crazy thing for Bow Wow to have said and I never would have heard of it if it weren’t for you, ckalli! Well, I’m off to pledge my fealty to Bow Wow’s gang to advance his militaristic radical leftist agenda, which again, I would have been completely ignorant of, had it not been for ckalli’s breathless reporting. We’ll raise a statue of you in the square come the revolution!
And yet another sexist pig.No, Bow Wow’s vitriol was not “remarkably honest” to Melania’s character. She is not Mr. Trump’s pimp, she has never had sex with other men in a prostitution ring to financially benefit her husband; she is his devoted wife who has stayed by his side for over a decade, despite his at-times inappropriate behavior.
