Where is your wallet?

I think you have a bright future in sales.

I used to put it in a back pocket…but it fell out once and was lost. Now I use a front pocket.

(I keep my keys in a separate zippered pouch…because once my keys sawed their way through the fabric of the pocket and fell away. In the middle of the Yuha Desert, fifteen miles from the nearest paved road. I backtracked and found 'em, but that was pretty much a miracle.)

If I’m wearing a coat, inside left coat pocket. If I’m not, back left pocket. Which is buttoned if I’m wearing pants that have a button there (… work), and not buttoned if I’m wearing jeans. I voted for where it was the most recent time I went out, which, being winter, was in the coat.

My “wallet” is a tattered leather scrap what holds my ID. A binder clip holds all my cards together and to the tatters. When i wear a jacket (which is usually) I keep it in my inside pocket. But I’ll keep my cash (with another binder clip) in my front pocket half the time, or also in my inside jacket pocket, though not in my wallet.

In my purse.

I spent years with it in my back right pocket. I’ve been trying to get stuff out of my pants pocket for a while so I got myself two Scott-E-Vest jackets and now it lives in the outer left chest pocket of whatever jacket I am wearing.

Generally my left rear pocket, but I’ve switched to the left front because my latest wallet doesn’t lay right and hurts my back.

Too tired to think of a clever response…

My wallet is actually a Hmong-designed coin purse that is just the right size for coins, folded bills and a couple of cards. I keep it in a small cross-body purse.

Oh no you don’t. I ain’t falling for this one. “Where is your wallet?” indeed.

Back pockets are less than an inch from the top of the pants. When I sit my wallet is behind me, not below. If I pulled my pants down far enough to sit on my wallet I’d be arrested for indecent exposure.

I carry my phone in a 12 South Book Book which serves as my wallet. It’s usually in my right rear pants pocket.

And what sort of pants would these be? One inch isn’t even enough room for a belt. I primarily wear Dockers and jeans. Just checked both and the top of the pocket is about 4 inches from the top of the pants. That seems pretty standard in my experience and numerous people have posted here that they don’t keep their wallets in their back pockets because it interferes with how they sit.

Back pants pocket, open. But there’s no money, credit cards, or ID in it. There’s only a few store loyalty cards and a collection of business cards I’ve never looked at twice.

I’ll never understand back pocketters. Must be uncomfortable to sit on your wallet.

It’s not that thick.

In the interests of science I just did some measuring. To be able to sit on my wallet the top of the pocket would have to be at least 8 inches below the top of my pants. In none of my pants are the pockets anywhere near that far down. Also in the name of science I loosened my pants and pulled them down far enough for me to sit on my wallet. Enough butt was exposed to make even the most seasoned plumber green with envy.

Back right pocket, always. Buttoned except for my few pants that don’t have buttons. It’s a thin wallet and I don’t keep much in it, so I never notice it when I sit unless I’m sitting for a long time, such as a car trip.
It is, incidentally, a Korean lady’s wallet, made of very fine leather, covered with pictures of beautiful Korean women wearing beautiful traditional Korean outfits in beautiful Korean settings. Or it used to be, until the pictures wore off. I used to get compliments on it all the time. I’ve used it for almost 15 years.

My wife just informed my that my wallet is at home and NOT in my pocket. :smack:

I’m so sleep deprived I don’t even notice the wallet.

Gonna have to find that damn pea under my mattress.
